Have been going there reqularly almost everyother sunday for their spicy fish. Their spicy fish is amazing. Tried the reqular fish but it was subpar. One thing that i don't like is that their phily cheese steak is not halal. Almost bought it but thank God i asked them if it was halal. For this i am taking one point off.

First of all I'm pretty sure it's halal and second of all, if you want halal meat then go to one of the 5 shawarma places within a km of this on Queen Street (including one which is in the same plaza two doors away) because this is a place to go for fish even if their menu does have other stuff on it. Fish biryani is an interesting concept however I like the spicy fish (has a masala taste but not in a bad way) and the traditional old haddock fish & chips. The fries are good and the proportions are great for the price. Overall, would recommend though I wish they had some thicker juicier types of fish but I haven't tried much of it out yet.

Went with some co workers at lunch. It is small shop run by the owner and his wife so be prepared to wait. Contrary to the claim I did not see a cleary visable halal sign on the premises. I asked the owner and he did not say the meat items are halal. I did have the fish sandwich which was very delicious.

Very reasonable prices and DELICIOUS food! MUST try the biryani (It's only available on weekends) and their halibut fish IS perfectly cooked. They also have fresh cut fries which makes everything REALLY healthy. SO GOOD <3

The spicy fish n chips were great so were their side salad. The owner is very friendly and nice person. The steak is not HALAH yet, but he said the rest of the meat is HALAL! Small eat in place but excellent food and great serivce. BTW, the prices are great too....

I ate there in May 2008 and I remember the steak sandwiches NOT being halal. The owner mentioned he was not able to find good halal meat for the philly cheesesteak. My husband and I encouraged him to make it halal, so his customer base would pick up. Have not been there since then, so not sure if he changed it. The calamari was great.

Their spicy fish is just awesome. The owner is a Muslim and is very approachable. There is a small eat-in area. I went there with wife and kids and the service was excellent and very friendly.
