Now located close to the Cortland station. There are several carts in and around the WTC area. They're all pretty similar in taste and price.
I'm pretty sure this is the cart that I ate at. It was right there when you step out of the train station at WTC. The food was good and cheap. But it doesn't seem much different from the other carts around the city.
I eat here all the time, the people are awesome, very friendly. Worth going here over other carts just because the guys are cool. Food tastes about the same as every other cart, maybe slightly better at times.
It's pretty much what you'd expect for a halal cart. The food comes out quick and the price is pretty good - I pay $8 for a chicken over rice and a drink. The guy who runs it is funny some days and a little weird on others. The main thing you need to watch out for is hot sauce. Don't get me wrong, I love hot sauce, but this guy puts SO much on. I ask for "just a little" every time I go and it's still a lot. I considered not going anymore after a few visits where my food was just drenched in hot sauce, to the point that it was completely inedible. Another thing is make sure you're paying the price that's on his menu. I had a friend go here and she got charged $3 more than I pay for the same dish.
Great food. Personal favorite mix over rice. Very nice staff. Definitely recommend!
the chicken over rice platter was the best! it’s one of my favorites that I’ve tried! super yummy with amazing flavor and chicken was very tender - I would definitely come back and try other dishes as well!
