I have been to this restaurant a couple times but only tried veggie food which was ok (to me, If they are saying halal they should post it publically and provide the source so I never tried any meat). As far as Halal is concerned, Millwoods Grocery guys are known being Ahmadis (I couldnt get direct confirmation) in the city. I have no information about these Suprior Foods Calgary guys.

I checked the source of the meat. Beef, lamb & goat is supplied by Millwoods Grocery of Edmonton and Chicken by Superior foods of Calgary. Both of these places are owned by Pakistanis and supply in Halal meat. I phoned and confirmed with both stores. I will check out the restaurant tonight and will report the quality of food.

I'm not sure about the authenticity of the food being halal. They serve alcohol too.

Excellent upscale Indian restaurant in Edmonton. The restaurant has excellent decor and a nice ambiance. In fact, they have a window so you can see you food being prepared. The service is very good. BUt best of all, the food is excellent. The staff stated that all of the food is halal. They make their own fresh naans and parathas in their tandoor... they were delicious. We ordered chicken tikkas and Alberta beef kebabs. Both dishes were very tasty and the portions were generous. We look forward to returning here.
