The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. From the management: 'We use halal meat'
Hassan Soleimani and his wife Afsar opened Darya Persian Restaurant in November 2005. Darya serves Halal meat, which makes Darya a healthier choice. Darya Persian Restaurant is located in the Fairways Shopping Center on Dartmouth Avenue, between Parker Road and Havana Street.

Food and service are both great. Chicken Soltani is my favorite!
Food: Beef Kabob on skewer was very good. If you like spicy food then you may have to tell them to make it spicy. Hummus was bad. But the kawa/tea was absolute best. Service: Very nice guy and very friendly. Family owned restaurant. Good service. Definitely recommend.

Owners are a family and they are muslims ... Very Delicious food I would definitely recommend it for you .
Went there a while back when visiting the city. So much impressed by the owners I ended up paying 30%+ for tip! More than the food I liked their home made yogurt. I wish this restaurant was closer to the city.
We ordered the sabzi, chicken kabob and a chello kabob plus hummus and salad. Every dish was gorgeous; the rice, meat and flavor truly Persian. The service was very courteous and - being a family-run restaurant - one understands the occasional slow service even though it was not on the day we ate there. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. We even got complimentary tea.
Very bad food.. The rice was hard to eat and not fresh. The kobab tastes like nothing or just like a flavor of meat! I think they add too much bread to it. Will never come back and i do not recommend this place.
I guess it's one of my favorites in Denver. Super friendly owners. Good Halal food.
Cleanliness, excellent. Food, not fresh, heated up in the microwave and served. Cost, more than the type and the qulity of food you get. Would prefer you, not to go there, since you would spending more money and wasting your time.
Their kabob is superb and the customer service is great. Nice persian style food and not very expensive.
Went to Darya 3 times in July 2010. The food was excellent. Owners were very nice. Tried the Chicken and beef sultani , chicken sandwich and hamburger. All meat was grilled to perfection. Would highly recommend. Bathrooms were very clean
The food was expensive.... We waited about 1 hour for the food and the food finally started coming out 1 dish at a time so we had to wait before all the food was out to everyone so we could eat together, and it got a bit cold in the proccess. Also, when we complained about this, the guy was extremely rude to us. I went there once before it was almost the same story... so i thought i TRY again, i dont think i'll give it a 3rd chance.
4 stars for good customer service & excellent chicken sandwich. In Denver this is the only Halal place I have visited 4 times in two months.
The food is really good..plus the service is improving the more you show up!
We went to this rest. because we love persian food. The place was so quite and we were the only people there but after a while some people came in. The stuff were so so friendly and polite. If I compare it with other rest's prices then this will be ok. We ordered Shesh Meat Kabab and it was so tasty. My wife ordered Chicken and Meat Kabab. Chicken was sour so I really recommend Kabab meat. Food takes time because it is grilled so you have to wait and it is really worths it. So, try it out.
A little bit pricey but friendly and good service...
The place and food are just OK. Their yogurt drink was too sour.
We ordered shish kebab at Darya. The food was ok but expensive. There were no customers other than us. It felt very empty and it was a Saturday when we went. The setting was quite simple and kitchen very viewable. We could see the kitchen pots and meat left for defrosting.
The food was very good and delicious. The service was excellent. We did not feel it was overpriced at all. I would highly recommend it especially for families.
Very bad service we were siting there for half and hour waiting for our food, when we were the only people in the restaurant. Don't order the hamburger.
a bit over priced. however, the costumer service was above average and the food was tasty
Prices are unreasonably high. The customer service is good, it is halal. Thats always a plus!
The price for kabob plates were unreasonable. The customer service was better than most places.
