Great food and halls. Halal
Having known them for last decade their biryani n chops has remained same forever n still tastes same. Fantastic food!
This place has re-opened and is now fully functional. The food is good quality and prices are not a rip off either
Mughal Restaurant used to be here, but has moved to Fremont at 4812 Thornton Ave. The new place is called Kabab Korner, and opened in the summer of 2011. It appears to be owned by Hindus since there is no beef on the menu. The meat is halal, per the manager. My wife and I enjoyed our meals, but they were a bit pricey. The place serves alcohol - so beware. We were the only customers (except for a take-out order) during our nearly hour long meal there on a Tuesday evening. Business appears to be slow here. Staff was nice.
Is a family owned resturant they moved to Santa Clara but Now they are back & the Food is Yummy just like it used to be. The prices are great too + the quantity of the food is great. We have missed them alot as they got the Best Chicken Biryani. Since they reopen I have been there couple of times & they always have an event happening sooo that tells U the Food is Yummy. We usually order ahead so the food is ready & good to go
It appears this place closed down, then reopened under the same name. We ordered Nihari for ten people last night. It was the worst nihari I have ever had. There were huge randon pieces of bone in there and the beef cubes were extremely dry. Basically, this was not Nihari, and instead a collection of several dishes mixed together with a dozen boxes of Shan Masala seasoning. We were overcharged and didn't like the taste. This restaraunt shut down once before and it appears they are in for a repeat performance.
my family and i have been eating here ever since they opened. We eat at Mughal atleast 2-3 times a month. the food is great, especially the chicken tikka masala! the prices are okay, used to be cheaper, but they raised the price. but thats business for ya! and the staff is very friendly.
The food is simply excellent excellent ! Some of my favorite dishes are goat biryani, Nihari, Don't forget to try their SEEKH KABAB.and the food quality is consistant. I will definitely go there again. keep it up MUGHAL !
Food is GREAT! Especially the goat biryani. Good portions and reasonable prices. Service is the best I have ever seen in Bay. Higly recommend it... You gotta try it once.
I've eaten at a lot of Indo-Pak restaurants in the Bay and I think this is one of my favorites. They make the food like you were at their home. Very nice owners. Excellent biryanis
I like mughal seekh kabab and goatbiryani The most dish is neihari that i like nice place and fresh food
mughal cuisine food is very good i like the seekh kabad and chinken makhani and more and they remold make good place i in that place every time get food
I been eating goat biryani from this joint fromlast 2-3 years now. - Goat biryani is excellent , littble bit oily but no complaints :-) - I wish they could add more meat inatead of more bones/huddi to it. As they have increase price of goat biryani to 8+ US$ . - But you will get enough quntity to feed 2 atleast. The other things may be good , but I am biryani fan. They have recently re-decorate the place.
Good Food. We arranged a gathering at this place. The food was awesome. but the place is little small.
Great goat biryani , chicken biryani, and seek kababs we odering in every two days for whole faimly , for us they never say no goat to day ----over all good desi food and 100% zabihah we know that too**
This place has so much potential but they are just wasting it away. When I first went here I was totally blown away by the taste of their food. Especially their goat biriyani. So I went and told a lot of my friends. But these days I am very disappointed by their utter lack of business sense. Most of the days when you call, they dont have any goat biriyani. And when they do, they hardly put any pieces of meat in it. And if you order to go, just make sure that you order only one plate of biriyani at a time. Because the second plate of biriyani would invariably have no pieces. This is really sad, because they have a really good cook and I dont mind paying more if only they maintain the right proportion of meat to rice.
we catered a whole month of ramadan with MUGHAL great food great prizes AND PLANTY OF FOOD ;;;; MAY ALLAH GIVE THEM MORE BARKA,
Their prices are gone up since summer this year. Food taste is also not as good as it was around last year
Our exerience with catering by Mughal was great. The food was plentiful, on-time and delicious. Their rates are very competive too.
customer service is part of the review. doesnt matter if you agree or not. if it was your wife or child im sure you wouldnt care about the food either.
i am not agree with that lady complaing about owners wife"s coments on the her son injury this is about only food reviews not any personal coments. my suggest is for that lady dont put like that review on net. its good for her any way food wise this restaurant doing exellent all over halal food cooked by muslim chefs.
the owner's wife asked me about my son's birth injury and told me it happened because I "was a working woman" and this was my fault that this happened to my son because we dont care about our children like stay at home moms. I have never been so insulted and hurt. The food is barely average the owners are definitely ignorant; especially when her own kid was playing in the street almost getting run over by oncoming traffic. I will never give them one cent of my money again. they should ask Allah (swt) forgiveness for speaking to customers this way.
Hard triers but the food is not upto the mark. Quality of dishes have to improve. I am surprised that there are so many reviews which give a high rating to this place.
its really great kabobs and naans in bay area , its worth if you really like desi orignal food. god blees them
i have tried so many time there food is really good even we did catering from them three times , it was same great taste and planty of food... god bless them.
I have been disappointed with subsequent visits here. Their food obviously is not that good. I guess it is back to Shalimar
VERY GOOD biryani and Chicken boti tikka we ever had.i think this restaurant is batter then others
we visit mughal after long time but they are still same orignal taste of food we ate lamb chops kabas and biryani , yummy.... all dishes are excellent now they have kulfi falooda too. great
Its great! every time you will get a same taste, this restaurant every thing perfect......
Eversince I went to Mughal the first time, 4 months ago, it has since become the restaurant of choice for me and my friends. The service is very friendly but it is the excellence of food itself which makes us go there almost every week. Comparing it with some of the other Bay Area Restaurants, the taste of the dishes mentioned below are quite unmatched elsewhere. These include 1. Chicken Boti 2. Chicken Karahi 3. Lamb / Beef Seekh Kebabs All other dishes are virtually as good as any other restaurant serves. They could improve on the variety of soft drinks they serve and making sure that the veggie dishes printed on the menu are actually present. The prices of dishes are quite economical and quantity of the served dishes is generous.
i am agree with mr syed rs aisha this is not reson to say that dont go there its may be bank mistake or some other poblem, u must call them and ask but dont give negetive review about charge iknow they are honest people.i always go there for food and honesty.
mrs AISHA you can contect them its might be a mistak i am regular customer of mughal since they open and every time i used my credit card i never got ovr charge even i pay tips on recipt any way you must contect theme ,over all they are nice owners and staff. and really great food.
WATCH YOUR RECIPT! WATCH YOUR BANK STATEMENT! I was over charged by $15 worth of tip! I used my credit card, and added a tip with a total, and they overcharged me above the tip I added! I WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN! HONESTY IS IMPORTANT!
very good food with nice decore they are improving every day wow......
Very good food and reasonable price; have tried twice...definitely a go...they should advertize more;
good food, not known much yet but can be considered a good competitior both in food quality and services ;) too The owner's kids are very friendly and fun to talk with
clean restaurant.. and really real seekh kabas and chicken tikka, keep it up ...
excellent food we tried from two three weeks they really cook the orignal seekh kababs and qourma.
i am not agree with the person review that this place always empty? we went there today it was full; and they are serving great food with great service with very good prize ........trust me.
Very good food. Decent atmosphere and decent service. So far it has not become as well known as say shalimar, but the food quality is as good, if not better and service is definitely better. If you want good south asian food, then i would recommend trying it out and inshaAllah you would like it.
Really great seekh kababs and naan we ever had, its nice clean restaurant and nice people.
overall its clean and nice decore restaurant, with reasonable price.
This place was a pleasant surprise. The cutlery, plates and restaurant were clean. The food was also very good and reasonably priced. I recommend the seekh kabab and chicken tikka. Overall a great dining experience!
This place is a revealation to Halal food seekers in Bay Area. Frankly, this restaurant offers a better value than some of the better known halal food establishments. Try Chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and seekh kababs. There is also a buffet available on weekends and me says" If you want value for your money and good service in adecent place, then look no further than Mughal cuisine." You should go for medium if you are sensitive to spicy food. Decent interiors, no frills service and very homely setting. We should encourage some of the upcoming restaurants like Mughal. The big fish have their share of customers. They do catering for parties and functions.
Alhamdulillah! What a pleasant surprise this place is! I urge people to try out this place. Believe me, you would'nt believe that you did not come here before. Food is a little bit spicy but the option for toning down the spice is always there while ordering. Decor is decent and service is good. What more can you ask for ? I won't name the establishment but we came here because we were 5 minutes late and refused service at another place because of incorrect information posted on their website. Can't believe that a halal restaurant guy can be so arrogant and turn away customers
great. bihari kabab , and seekh kabab i ever had ****** cool** keep it up ! mughal.
hey - i am not agree with..ABD.. IF YOU wanna eat indian/ pakistani food thats really thay serve with best quality, and you guyes spent more then $ 40 in other restaurant for nothing, one thing they must need improve, in sevice and decor. food is the best with reasonable prize.
I spent close to $40 for two persons. This is not a cheap place and does not deserve the one dollar sign. The food is pakistani/asian, spicey. It may not be appropiriate if you are not used to. The quality of the food was OK. The place was filthy. The environment was pretty bad, decor from a third world country...
This restaurant really have real tast. all items , like nihari , seekh kabab, chicken tikka. tried so many tims.
THis was the restaurant I wen to and it was good. Pakowars are great.
The service here is good and so is the food. I like the pakowras.
excellent food in very low prize we tried so many times . but thay must need good service too.
The usual South Asian fare. Not bad but nothing to write home about.
Food was consistently excellent. Tried 4 times.
Mughal Cuisine will be # 1 restaurant in Fremont , inshallah. We go there try some Nihari Kebab, and Naan. They are really best and very low rates.
great lamb chops and seekh kabab we had in this restaurant.
ITS New restaurant in fremont we went there last week they have great food then shalimar and really great prize too. we love the nihari and paya. The chef/owner is from delhi india so they really know about good food. we wish them all the best .
This is my personal favourate. Its a relatively new restaurant. Food is excellent with reasonable price. Their service is THE best. I live in Sunnyvale, but whenever I feel like getting good quality food, I drive all the way to Fremont to Tandoori restaurant.
Good ambience, good food, good service, reasonable price.
