Mughal Restaurant used to be here, but has moved to Fremont at 4812 Thornton Ave. The new place is called Kabab Korner, and opened in the summer of 2011. It appears to be owned by Hindus since there is no beef on the menu. The meat is halal, per the manager. My wife and I enjoyed our meals, but they were a bit pricey. The place serves alcohol - so beware. We were the only customers (except for a take-out order) during our nearly hour long meal there on a Tuesday evening. Business appears to be slow here. Staff was nice.

Is a family owned resturant they moved to Santa Clara but Now they are back & the Food is Yummy just like it used to be. The prices are great too + the quantity of the food is great. We have missed them alot as they got the Best Chicken Biryani. Since they reopen I have been there couple of times & they always have an event happening sooo that tells U the Food is Yummy. We usually order ahead so the food is ready & good to go

It appears this place closed down, then reopened under the same name. We ordered Nihari for ten people last night. It was the worst nihari I have ever had. There were huge randon pieces of bone in there and the beef cubes were extremely dry. Basically, this was not Nihari, and instead a collection of several dishes mixed together with a dozen boxes of Shan Masala seasoning. We were overcharged and didn't like the taste. This restaraunt shut down once before and it appears they are in for a repeat performance.

I been eating goat biryani from this joint fromlast 2-3 years now. - Goat biryani is excellent , littble bit oily but no complaints :-) - I wish they could add more meat inatead of more bones/huddi to it. As they have increase price of goat biryani to 8+ US$ . - But you will get enough quntity to feed 2 atleast. The other things may be good , but I am biryani fan. They have recently re-decorate the place.

This place has so much potential but they are just wasting it away. When I first went here I was totally blown away by the taste of their food. Especially their goat biriyani. So I went and told a lot of my friends. But these days I am very disappointed by their utter lack of business sense. Most of the days when you call, they dont have any goat biriyani. And when they do, they hardly put any pieces of meat in it. And if you order to go, just make sure that you order only one plate of biriyani at a time. Because the second plate of biriyani would invariably have no pieces. This is really sad, because they have a really good cook and I dont mind paying more if only they maintain the right proportion of meat to rice.

the owner's wife asked me about my son's birth injury and told me it happened because I "was a working woman" and this was my fault that this happened to my son because we dont care about our children like stay at home moms. I have never been so insulted and hurt. The food is barely average the owners are definitely ignorant; especially when her own kid was playing in the street almost getting run over by oncoming traffic. I will never give them one cent of my money again. they should ask Allah (swt) forgiveness for speaking to customers this way.

Eversince I went to Mughal the first time, 4 months ago, it has since become the restaurant of choice for me and my friends. The service is very friendly but it is the excellence of food itself which makes us go there almost every week. Comparing it with some of the other Bay Area Restaurants, the taste of the dishes mentioned below are quite unmatched elsewhere. These include 1. Chicken Boti 2. Chicken Karahi 3. Lamb / Beef Seekh Kebabs All other dishes are virtually as good as any other restaurant serves. They could improve on the variety of soft drinks they serve and making sure that the veggie dishes printed on the menu are actually present. The prices of dishes are quite economical and quantity of the served dishes is generous.

This place is a revealation to Halal food seekers in Bay Area. Frankly, this restaurant offers a better value than some of the better known halal food establishments. Try Chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and seekh kababs. There is also a buffet available on weekends and me says" If you want value for your money and good service in adecent place, then look no further than Mughal cuisine." You should go for medium if you are sensitive to spicy food. Decent interiors, no frills service and very homely setting. We should encourage some of the upcoming restaurants like Mughal. The big fish have their share of customers. They do catering for parties and functions.

Alhamdulillah! What a pleasant surprise this place is! I urge people to try out this place. Believe me, you would'nt believe that you did not come here before. Food is a little bit spicy but the option for toning down the spice is always there while ordering. Decor is decent and service is good. What more can you ask for ? I won't name the establishment but we came here because we were 5 minutes late and refused service at another place because of incorrect information posted on their website. Can't believe that a halal restaurant guy can be so arrogant and turn away customers

I spent close to $40 for two persons. This is not a cheap place and does not deserve the one dollar sign. The food is pakistani/asian, spicey. It may not be appropiriate if you are not used to. The quality of the food was OK. The place was filthy. The environment was pretty bad, decor from a third world country...
