This Masjid is an existing church in very good condition. The building and people are very nice. However it seems they have compromised the sharia to allow more congregates. I find there is lack of hijab among the congregation and in the Masjid itself. Men and women use one entrance and congregate together as if they are in a party. In the prayer hall itself the men stand in the same row as women divided by a knee high wall. Perhaps these problems come due to the structure of the building and the lack of space. I advise them to fix these issues so all can focus on God in a comfortable environment.

Great facility, but its ALWAYS closed it seems. There\'s a code to get in, but the code system seems to be finicky even when you put in the right code (light will turn green, door wont open properly). Have been in the area multiple times needing to pray salah only to find it closed and unable to enter so had to pray out in the cold. If nearby (West Hartford, etc.), I would suggest driving out to somewhere that you know will be open.

This is a church turned into a mosque. I find the original church design to be very helpful and meditative. I actually felt like a human being because there is one entrance to the mosque and two entrances to the main prayer hall but the women are on one side of a low partition. FINALLY! A place where I dont feel irrelevant; where my prayer doesnt get messed up due to various mental and technical disconnections with the imam. Please financially support them.
