Pearland Islamic Center

Used to be a member of this community when the masjid was still located in the strip mall. While I can\'t speak about the new physical building, the community was one of my favorites. Very friendly and welcoming as well as diverse.

Been going to this mosque for over 5 years. 2 years ago the mosque moved from a little shopping strip on O'Day road to new location at Garden Road. I believe the old location has been rented by a Christian Church group, even though the sign of ISGH (Islamic Society of Greater Houston) is still on the shopping strip signage! Pearland Islamic Center is a growing community center. With quite a few activities. Huge woman's section, spacious parking and extended parking available on mosque property not yet developed. Clean bathrooms, nice kitchen and catering area. I attended Eid Ul Fitr prayers at this mosque 2013. Apparently only phase 1 of 4 is completed. They have humming Facebook community and active email list of which I just joined a week ago. Definitely a place to be and very friendly and welcoming to all.

Salam came.from.los.Angeles.California had chance.to stay near Pearland masjid just entered the masjid and amazing parking.lot basketball court and even a table.tennis setup the brothers.in board very hospitable but people.need.to.populate this.masjid in.Torrance.California.we.don't.have such.a.great size.masjid and.parking.lot but.more.people populate torrance musalla . may Allah Swt.make.it.easy for.us all.to.establish.5.times.daily salaat and with jamaa'ah also.
