Shariah Board of America

Shariah Board is a masjid that is run by a group of Islamic scholars led by the famous Mufti Naval-ur-Rahman. Mufti Sahib spends the winter months speaking before hundreds of students in Hyderabad (India) but his summer home is here in Chicago. He is usually the khateeb for Jumma and also holds an informative and often-times witty Q&A session in Urdu afterwards. The masjid is also home to a girls school and a group of scholars who certify local restaurants and slaughterhouses as zabihahah halal. A definite perk of coming to this masjid is the small parking lot - very helpful if you're tired of Devon street parking.
