2023 and it\\\'s still there. Went there tonight for maghrib after probably 15-20 years as we were in the area.

I would pray here sometimes if my mom was shopping at the nearby grocery store (Fresh Farms). They have hafiz and reading classes for little kids and I would come in to see the whole mosque full of kids.

This is one of the best of the famous "Devon Ave Basement Masjids." The first masjids in Devon were converted basements where locals would come downstairs or down the block to pray. While some eventually grew or coalesced into larger masjids, this one remained true to its origins and is worth checking out to get a real neighborhood experience. At prayer times, you'll see people in flip-flops making their way down the street and into an alley to get to the main entrance.
