Excellent Musallah easily accessible in downtown lake hiawatha 5 time daily prayers hadees reading and fiqh class by mufti. Alhumdulillah

Assalam-o-alaikum brothers/sisters, I am frequent visitor to Lake Hiawatha Musallah. Alhamdulillah local brothers are growing for daily prayers on this Musallah. As It is located just beside famous restaurants like Kabab Paradise & Shahi Kabab lot of brothers coming for food from near by locality offers Salah at same Musallah. My wife and I prayed Maghrib here on Aug 11, 2010 -- we got there just as the brothers were heading out and about to lock the door. I've been told that you can go to Shahi Kabab (right next door) and get the key if you go there outside of the normal prayers. It's true, there's just one small bathroom. No parking lot but there's always plenty of street parking.

It is a stattup place. Hopefully they will have their own Masjid one day (inshaAllah). There is no womens area but I have occasionaly seen them praying at the back. There is one common restroom for the building. Nice community. Brothers from WhyIslam hold their programs weekly (Quran Study Circle). Tableegh brothers also hold their programs.
