Small Clean Masjid. Beautiful and friendly community.

Recently renovated/expanded - this small, cozy mosque offers all 5 daily prayer plus Juma services. It consists of a mixed community, primarily Pakistani/Indian with the Juma khutbah given in Urdu. There is no parking lot, but street parking usually is not a problem one block away on Warren st.

I was in Newark for my son's soccer practice. It is a very nice, MA, but small masjid, very clean. The brothers were very friendly and welcoming. Parking was a bit difficult. It is so close to the Red Bull Soccer Arena. There is no excuse to go to the Arena and miss your prayer. May Allah accept their effort, and ours.

I was in town for thanksgiving weekend and needed a place to pray Jumah salat. I found this Islamic center on Zabihah. I got there early enough to hear the bayan, which to my surprise was in Urdu. I assumed the Khutbah would be in English, and if not probably translated at the end. I was wrong, and may Allah reward the brothers there but I don't feel I got my fair share of the sermon that day. My fiancé also attended with me and her feedback was that the woman hall, though separate and u
