Small masjid , good decent imam, mostly Arab's pray there
Visiting from out of town. Much smaller than expected. They have a wadu area for sisters, as well. The small sister's prayer area was very hot and you could barely hear the Magrib prayer. Afterwards, the whole three people that were there dispersed without a word.
It is the place i like to pray Jumaah over there
Stopped here while passing through en route to Illinois. Mosque is very convenient off of Route 35. It's in a cute neighborhood called the St Anne's historic district surrounded by old style homes with great architecture. The mosque itself looks to be an old church converted. There are several other fantastic churches in the neighborhood. Inside the mosque has tons of space is air conditioned and was open when we stopped by in between Maghreb and isha. Thumbs up.
I went to this mosque while passing through Dayton last week on my way to Tennessee. My family and I went inside to pray Maghrib and we were met by a strange fellow in the lobby who asked me if I could give him a ride to a Turkish restaurant and also then proceeded to ask for some money. I took my family back outside to the car and we prayed there and then drove away. I didn't end up seeing the prayer hall at all.
