Masjid At-Taqwa

Built in an old house at the corner of Amherst and Parker streets. Of all of the masjids in the area, this is my preferred masjid to pray Jumma at. The Jumma khutbah starts at 1:30 and the jamaat stands up at 2pm.

Admittedly, I'm biased because I was raised attending this Masjid in this city but it's a generally warm atmosphere, especially during the weekdays when a devout group of brothers maintain prayers in congregation. The Khateeb is an excellent reciter of the Quran and does a great job leading Jummah and Taraweh prayers.
