I feel really happy from the first visit .. May Allah bless you
Mashallah.
I do miss the 'old days' when the Muslim community met under the same roof to worshiip. It is sad that the community has fragmented into separate Jamaas (congregations) as it has. Anyway, I miss the old days when Ahmad (Al) Seede lead prayers on Fridays. I must say that I do like what is going on now. Lebanese pastries after Juma prayer, active youth groups, mosque open most of the day. Sucessive boards of directors have taken the 'good old mosque' and made it even better. Well done.
Yes, the mosque has really changed over the years. Years ago I had to convince a member of board of directors to give me a key to the mosque in order to do my prayers, as no one was around during the day to open the door. Today the mosque can be accessed from Fajr to Isha for salat and other activities. I feel more welcome to day than back in the early 80's as the concregation is more multi cultural - Lebanese, Somali and Indo-Pak and a sprinkling of 'converts'. Keep up the good work.
