Lewisham & Kent Islamic Centre

The most diverse mosque I have ever entered! The LIC is very community orientated with many weekly events always being offered. Mashallah at one point every time I attended Salah there would almost always be a shahadah. The mosque has a football team for under 16's and an adult team both in leagues, there is a bookshop, a restaurant, a gym, youth club and many weekly seminars and community workshops including self defence classes for box men and women held seperately. Whoops I left out the primary school which achieves some of the best grades in the Lewisham borough! All activities are within the mosque site apart from the football.
