Ottawa Main Mosque

Beautiful clean masjid. Friendly congregation. Huge parking space, clean washrooms, women-friendly. Not too far from Parliament hill too.

One of the oldest and largest mosques in all of Ottawa. I've attended Jumma here a few times. They have a Saturday night program every week with interesting topics and speeches.

The restrooms were clean-at least in the women's area. The women's section wasn't bad either-were on a balcony above the main hall. The Khutbah could be heard clearly. This was not the most "sister friendly" masjid I've been to, but by far not the worst. The Khutbah was interesting and relevant, although I have heard better. All in all, it was a satisfactory experience, just not much above average.
