Today I offered Asr prayers here. All doors are locked so security had to let me in. It's a full Time Islamic School (Palm Tree School) besides a prayers hall

Assalamu alikom. MashaAllah beautiful masjid on 8900 lee hwy in Fairfax. This masjid is upon the sunnah mashaAllah. Dr. Sheikh Nabil Zahr is one of the greatest scholars of this time. There are daily classes for men and women(Aqeeda, Arabic, Tafseer, saheeh Bukhari, saheeh Muslim,Fiqh, etc..), 5 daily prayers, Jumaa, Iftar in Ramadan and Tawaraweeh prayer. They also have a full time islamic school and a weekend school. With regards to the review below about the Imam asking the brothers to keep their feet together, it is the Sunnah, I advise my brother to refer to this hadith: Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 686; Muslim, 425. It was narrated from "˜Abd-Allaah ibn "˜Umar that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Make your rows straight, stand shoulder to shoulder and close the gaps, and do not resist your brothers' hands. Do not leave any gaps for the Shaytaan. Whoever complete a row, Allaah will reward him, and whoever breaks a row, Allaah will forsake him. Not to mention that the prophet PBUH used to check the rows to make sure they are straight, standing feet to feet and shoulder to shoulder.

I went first time there. It was maghrib salah time. First thing that i noticed , they delayed the salah for 20 minutes, which is against the sunnah. Anyways, once the iqamah was called and we are ready to start the prayer , somebody tapped on my shoulder, i raised up my head , it was imam , standing before me , saying, TOUCH YOUR ANKLE with the other guys ankle. I could not understand what he want. When i asked him, he got upset . I was so shocked of his act , i wanted to leave right there. It was humiliating , discrimination and racism . Just because i am not arab. Besides that it is neither sunnah to do that nor its practical. I don't know where these guys learn their religion from. As mostly do not learn , they just follow whatever they hear. I will never go there again. Another point, masjid had a bad odor whilst the bathroom had good fragrance. This place is messed up

Apparently found a website for them with different address but even that location is closed down. Please remove this zabihah entry and whoever has control over this website please remove it too! http://www.ihcproject.com

As the brother said the masjid is in the same building of strip club. There are some actions which can bring the change; e.g keeping your gages down ( not looking at the girls) , being nice to the people whether muslim or not ,saying hello hi to them , and when they get little familiar ,give them dawat; introducing about islam, but Action speaks louder then words. May Allah guide all of us in the straight path

This is a small masjid but with a very tight community. Although it is small, it somehow manages to include large crowds, Subhanallah. There are daily speeches around 8PM on Hadith or Tafseer. They are trying to build a bigger masjid which is pending due to limited funds available.

IHC is located in the same strip mall as Pizza Boli. I'm not sure if they hold Friday prayers on site, but the brother who I met inside the center said they will be relocating soon. If I hadn't ordered pizza from Boli's next door, I would've never known about IHC's existence. Looks like a decent place.

This is a fairly large community which is growing. The masjid is located in a shopping center at Cedar and Park Roads (next to Pizza Boli). They currently pray Jummah at the Dunn Loring fire station. I prayed Jummah prayer there at the 2nd Jummah where the Khutbah was not in English. However, although the Kutbah was in Arabic they provide audio headsets for people to listen it which provide live translation. They have a huge crowd for Jummah and are also trying to raise funds so they move into a permanent facility which they purchased but need to renovate.

Alhamdulillah a great place. They spread authentic knowledge backing them up with Qur'an and Hadeeth. Also a great place to increase your knowledge and meet brothers that will help keep on the straight path. By the Mercy of Allah they have purchased a bigger building only 3 minutes away (8900 Lee highway Fairfax, VA 22031) and are looking to move in after renovation is complete. I'll keep you guys posted InshaAllah on this matter. I ask Allah to guide us all to the straight path and increase us in knowledge throughout our life time and bless us with long life in order to worship the one true God, Allah (Subhana Wa Ta'ala)!

This is a storefront masjid located in a strip mall at the intersection of Park and Cedar. The masjid has daily iftars where there is a small but good community that gathers together.
