Dar-us-Salaam

Nice masjid, great school, excellent community!

Dar-us-Salaam is known as a very conservative masjid and the worshipers are also known to be very conservative. What does all this mean? I am not sure but they won't advertise any events that have Hamza Yusuf. The congregation is very friendly however, and Muslims here will talk with you, trade viewpoints and they are extremely active in the community constantly hosting fundraisers, outreach events, supporting women's shelters, raising money for the homeless and the hungry and exemplifying what it means to be Muslim.

Good community. Women's section entrance is around to the side of the building, but no sign is posted. Women's prayer area is separated by a full height wall.

Not only a masjid but excellent community that is active in various aspects of Muslim life
