Islamic Center of Nashville

Went there during asr time, the prayer space is large, clean and quiet. Down the street from the frothy monkey. Parking right out front. Bathrooms were clean. Hearts!

MashaAlla nice to see a vibrant mixed community when we travel to smaller cities. Jummah khutbah was in english, with a number of local announcements about upcoming events, a sure sign that there is growth and outreach.

The khutbas are generally strong, though occasionally they dip into the political - either local mosque politics or international issues - which some may find inappropriate. The sisters often complain that their side is too small and loud because of roaming and noisy children making it difficult to concentrate - this was particularly evident during Ramadan. On a positive note, there is a good sense of community here and it is easy for Muslims new to the area to get involved.
