★★★★★ The food here is excellent - chicken, lamb, and ground beef kabobs were delicious, not overcooked, and went great with the brown rice, white sauce, and chickpeas. Service left a bit to be desired (called 20 min ahead but food still was not ready; also asked for potatoes and spinach but was told they were out once I got to the shop ...) but they opened recently; hopefully they will work out the kinks.---------------------------- UPDATE: I agree with 'IbnFooduta's' review below in that the owner has not clearly defined what is and what is not zabihah halal in his restaurant. When I went back, he told me that the rib-eye (beef kabob) was not zabihah. This is apparently because his meat suppliers did not provide high quality zabihah beef. He said that his other meats are zabihah (lamb, gyro, ground beef) and that he keeps a separate batch of zabihah chicken which he gives out (in place of the non-zabihah chicken) if he thinks you are a Muslim ... ★★☆☆☆ STAY AWAY! This guy doesn't even have the courtesy to tell his customers coming in with hijab and beards from the masjid that the chicken and beef is NOT ZABIHAH! I assumed everything was halal and fed the chicken to my kids. Later when I inquired about catering, he started saying things like "I can not produce a halal certificate for the chicken, It's halal but I don't claim it's ZABIHAH halal, but the lamb and gyros are ZABIHAH Halal and I can get certificates for those." To be fair the food was delicious eventhough NOT HALAL. I would however keep the kids away because this guy has obscene arab channels playing on his TV. ★★★★★ I very rarely give 5 stars but these guys deserve it. I had the lamb Kebab platter and it was prepared very well. This place provides all the ingredients for an enjoyable meal - great tasting food, fair portions at a good price, efficient and friendly service. ★★★★☆ came here for lunch with a couple of friends. it's next to a gas station and the inside is small but they have a decent amount of tables outside. the food was very good.
