
Australian Halal Food Services Trust is the first scientist Islamic body in Australia established 1997, builds trust and confidence through being experienced experts of meat science, meat hygiene ,veterinary public health and food processing techniques, international trends in food regulations . Licensed, accredited and authorised to inspect the Halal process, advise and inspect the correct handling, storage and transport of Halal meat and food according to Islamic law "Shari'ah" and issue Halal certificates.
Australian Halal Food Services Trust (AHFST) recognised as an Islamic body under the Australian Government Supervisor Muslim Slaughter (AGSMS) system, to issue Halal meat certificates to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and those Muslim countries who accept the standard Halal certificate.
Australian Halal Food Services Trust has been regognised as a training organisation by the Queensland State Government under the Department of Employment and Training for the Halal slaughtering process. We have undertaken this training role in our continuous effort to help the Australian meat industry and to improve the quality of the Halal program benefiting the general public.
