★☆☆☆☆ Al-Noor has the absolute worst grapeleaves I have ever tasted. It was obvious that they had been reheated and were several days old. The hummus and baba also tasted like it came out of a can.
Stick to their salads - the tabouli was not bad. Posted on February 1, 2009 |

★★★★★ We've been eating here regularly (at least once a month) for more than a year. During that time we've tired other spots but this is the best in the area by far surpasses its famous (and pricey) Lebanese neighbor up the street. Like most regulars we order to go as the location (an old fast food joint) leaves something to be desired. Despite the low price, the food has all the hallmarks of being prepared to order with care. The Shish Combo is incredible. The quality of the meat (chicken, lamb, and beef) is consistently excellent - well spiced and perfectly grilled (never overdone). In fact, when I've asked other local Middle Easter restaurateurs where their favorite spot it, I've always been told "Al Noor". Apparently it's know in the business for having the freshest meat in town. Their lentil soup is also the best I've tasted in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti though some days its better than others. The low prices make up for what it lacks in location. Posted on February 25, 2007 |

★★☆☆☆ This is a restaurant that used to be good but has now gone downhill, as evidenced by the fact that it's usually empty while it's nearby competitors are not. The most recent time I ate there, the fattoush contained rotten and slimy green peppers. Not recommended. Posted on July 13, 2006 |

★★★★☆ The rice was perfect. The shish kebab was salty, but flavorful and perfectly done. My chicken was dry and flavorless, and the minced lamb was burnt on the outside, and a bit underdone on the inside. Get the Shish kebab. Posted on January 12, 2006 |
