★★★★☆ This restaurant is located within a stone's throw away from the Niujie Mosque, the oldest mosque in Beijing, and right opposite a Muslim supermarket. I had lunch there in August 2005, a long time ago i know, but what i can say is this; after a week of eating typically chinese food, this reataurant provided a much needed and refreshingly different taste. It helps a lot that the food's yummy too. I gotta tell ya, I've never eaten flour-coated fried lamb before but after having it at this restaurant, I can't resist ordering it everytime I see it on the menu anywhere i go. Posted on May 2, 2010
