Hongbinlou Restaurant lies in the south of Xi Chang An Street. It is a restaurant of Islamic flavors of Tianjin, enjoyed by many travelers to Beijing. It was originally established in Tianjin in 1853 and moved to Beijing in 1955. The restaurant is skilled in the technique of stewing, braising, and baking over a slow fire. The characteristics of its food concentrate on the crisp tastes evidenced in 100 sumptuous dishes. Hong Bin Lou is quite famous for its 'Whole Sheep Feast' that was initiated in the period of the reign of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.
