I told him I was from out of town and he became much more open and friendly than he already was. I tried the juje koobideh which was made pretty good. I also got a few samples from him. ★★★★☆ I have been to this restaurant about 3 or 4 times and I think that the food is very good! I'm not sure how much of this is due to the quality of the meat and how much of it is a product of their own effort in the kitchen, but either way, the finished product is great. However, I do feel that they are a little bit pricey. Furthermore, the menu is somewhat limited to Kabobs and only a few other dishes. Regardless, it is a place worth visiting. ★★★☆☆ I like how they state very clearly that the food is Halal on the menu, this is not that common in this area as the Muslims are not in huge numbers. ★★★★★ Mashallah, this place is a regular stop for my family. The meat is very tender. I love the kubideh and the barg. The meat they use is excellent quality. Recently, I went to a highly reviewed Iranian restaurant in DC, and I kept thinking how much better the food at Kabab Cafe was. The people who work there are very friendly.
