★☆☆☆☆ the worst food ever. I ordered goat karahi but the have no idea how to make it. I asked where do they get the hallal meat and the owner said Jetro. In addition i ordered kheer and it was milk separate and rice separate. Worst food ever Posted on October 25, 2017 |

★★★☆☆ The food is decent, their Buffet on weekends is worth a try in the afternoon, which I think is daily if my memory isn't failing me.
A Punjabi Hindu family owns it but they use halal meat to keep the Muslims interested when asked, the biryani is missing from their buffet every time meaning, be prepared to be bummed a lil.
Food is ok and has good variety in the Indo pak snacks department with samosas, pakoras and fried chicken n fish, no South Indian food from what I saw, could give it a try, for someone with a desi spicy palate a one time try as per me.

★★★★☆ Verbally assured by owner and staff that chicken and lamb is halal. Please note this restaurant does not serve any beef items. I had the lunch buffet and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very tasty, and the selection was plenty. Good service, clean establishment. A very busy place during lunch. A local favorite. I recommend. Posted on March 21, 2015 |

NR I doubt this place is halal. I don't know where they get their meat from, but they definitely serve alcohol & the place is full off murtis & idols. I wouldn't eat there. Posted on September 12, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ Please remove this restaurant from the zabiha list because it is NOT zabiha. The menu has some vegetarian items but they are overpriced and the quality is certainly not worth the expense. If you pass by this restaurant, keep driving as there are much better places to eat in the East bay. Posted on October 29, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ Nothing special.. its passable. The service was kind of slow. As for the lunch buffet... it needs to be freshened up a bit. Posted on January 17, 2003 |

★★★★★ First timer to this facility, well decorated and pleasant environment. Indus Foods (510.549.3663/Berkley) supplies them Halal meat, all waiters dont know what halal means but they know meat is halal and according to manager many muslims come here for dining. Since I have talked with meat source, I am comfortable in confronting. Overall place is good and worth visiting. Chicken Tandori is one of the best dishes I know. Posted on September 19, 2002 |
