★★★★★ Tandoori restaurant recently reopened and took over the same spot from the previous abysmal tasting Mezban. I tried their lunch buffet recently which runs at about 12/person. I was blown away. The food was so fresh and tasty. There were 12-13 various, delicious items on the menu like Biryani, Turkish Kabob, Chapli Kabob, goat korma, and some veg items. You also get various appetizers, soup, two types of dessert, unlimited naan, and the best chai in the western suburbs included with the buffet. You cannot beat this lunch deal. Highly recommend! ★☆☆☆☆ Highly Disappointed with the staff's attitude...I had called in earlier to book a table for iftar ...They said there is no need for reservation as the hall is empty and I can simply walk in at iftar time...When we went there the hall was full and we were refused a table...The waiter was very rude and screaming at the pitch of his voice...
They turned us away when it was almost time to break the fast...
We went to a different restaurant and although it was full they made place for us and made sure we weren't hungry for iftar..
Tandoor restaurant is Very Unprofessional ..Would never recommend it to anyone !! Posted on June 14, 2017 |

★★★★☆ After being open about a year, this place still stands out from what's in the area. Decor is upscale and open, helped by the high ceiling and high end fixtures. The fusion menu successfully bridges various cuisines, and gives enough options for the $13 weekday lunch buffet. Everything is tasty, without being memorable, therefore catering to a more mainstream audience rather than those seeking authentic flavors and dishes. The staff is attentive and courteous, while the giant video screen and capable sound system are obviously key differentiators vs. the usual banquet/ private event space. A great place to lunch with the team or reconnect with a group of friends. Posted on March 10, 2017 |

★★★★★ I normally dont give any reviews especially the good ones. But the service quality and food was exceptional and deserves recognition. Mutton karahi, nihari and turkish kebob were the best. Everything had just the right combination of spice. Complimentary soup was not bad either. Decor is nice and presentation of food was professional. Posted on December 4, 2016 |

★☆☆☆☆ Everything was bland. Catered towards people wanting non-spicy, tasteless food. If you are looking for just a Buffett with some tasteless "orange" chicken, biryani and Bihari then it's ok. If you want something that tastes good then go elsewhere. Posted on May 28, 2016 |

★★★★★ This place opened up mid-Feb. It is located off of Roosevelt Road in a large strip mall next to Burlington Coat Factory. The décor and space inside is amazing. It is beautiful with a tremendous amount of space. You can easily bring your entire extended family for dinner here without any worries about getting a table. Zabihah halal is listed on the menu. I spoke with the owner and he confirmed he purchases his meat from the halal meat store right down the road.
The food was absolutely delicious. I have tried their weekday buffet and also their weekend brunch buffet (11am-3pm). Both were excellent. The food had just the right amount of spice for flavor without it being overwhelming. Typical items on the buffet included kabobs, chicken, biryani, and vegetable dishes as well as samosas and dessert. Fresh naan comes to your table. If you prefer, you can also order standard roti or parathas for an additional charge. I enjoyed the food so much I have been there 3 times in less than a month! Posted on March 15, 2016 |
