★☆☆☆☆ Had hair in pizza numerous times. Plus not a big fan of the pork being served there. Posted on January 8, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ I am new to Victoria, i had been to this restaurant and i was horrified to see that they serve PORK and they handle the food with bare hands and no gloves. I placed an order and while waiting, non Muslim came to place order and they ordered pizza with pork and the worker there was handling pork and halal meat together. When i saw that i left without eating there. I asked about the owner in the community and they are know to be non practicing Muslims no hijab, selling pork, cross contamination all over not clean. Be very careful eating there. It is not any different from non Halal pizza place. Warning... Warning... Warning... Do not trust this place at all. Posted on September 20, 2012 |

★★★★★ Looking around for Halal places in this Nice and quite Town of Victoria and found this place, walk in and asked about their Halal authenticity and about Meat.
The owners confirmed that they did offer Pork meat, and they serve Halal meat as well, they mentioned that after 600 C in the oven ,nothing touches any thing and also non-halal peperoni as well for their other customers).
The have a large Menu, which offers from small $ 9 Pizza, Chicken/Beef Burgers, Sandwiches, Shawarma, lasania and other stuff.
I would highly recommend this place to eat for a Muslim, as we should definitely encourage our Muslim Community to reach out to these nice Muslim restaurants where the owners are hosting us Halal and nice Food.
The customer service was also nice and you can feel that they server you nicely. The food was prepared with a unique manner in the big oven and it really taste nice specially their 12 hour marinated chicken Shawarma, which taste really great. Posted on May 2, 2012 |

NR While I haven't been to this place I'm disgusted that they sell pork products (if true). Probably best to avoid if they really sell pork Posted on December 29, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ I am very shocked to see this Muslim owned restaurant sells pork. From my experience working in a pizza place is when you bake pizza which has pork the grease from the pork meat evaporates and sticks on the top of the oven and when you bake halal pizza in the same oven the grease drips on the halal pizza. Therefore, I do not consider this place halal at all. What I am telling you is from my own experience working in non-halal restaurant. We used to scrape everyday a huge amount of lard from the roof of the oven as a result of the grease sticking on the inside of the oven. Group of Muslims went and told the owner of this and he was very defensive and he got very upset for giving him advise and he claimed that only 30% of his customers are Muslims and he can't survive on that. I think 70 % of his customers are Muslims not 30% as he claims. He seems to forget that Allah is the provider and by leaving selling haram products Allah will replace that for him. I strongly do not recommend this place to any Muslim until he stops selling pork otherwise you are eating pork in everything you buy there. Fear Allah and feed Muslims Halal food. ★★★★★ I knew both sets of owners (an Albanian and his luvly wife who is actually one of my friends) and then the new owners who are Afghani-Canadians. They provide very friendly service and where else in Victoria can you get halal pepperoni on a freshly baked pizza?? If you want something else besides their main dish, try the chicken shawarma (I like mine spicy) and if you're lucky, sometimes one of the girls makes baklawa which tastes just like the stuff here in the Middle East.
It's in a good location, too. Posted on March 26, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ I ordered Pizza over the phone and when I went to pick it up an I saw that they sell pork products. I was very disturbed to see a Halal restaurant selling PORK PRODUCTS. How can I guarantee that my food was not cross contaminated with the pork they sell there. Big question mark on this restaurant??? The pizza was over baked and the bottom was burned.
Will never go back there. Posted on December 14, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Excellent food in a great location (near to masjid and other Muslim establishments), with a dine-in option. It is a bit pricey but well worth-it having the peace of mind knowing it is halal. Posted on October 25, 2009 |
