★★★★☆ Had the chicken tikka roll and kabab roll. Both were excellent.
Very good, very cheap ($6 per roll). Flavour and spice was surprising.
Nothing like this in Vancouver, appreciate it exists.
Yes, it is a hole in the wall, and yes it is relatively dirty but if you've eaten at Desi restaurants in any major city, you know what to expect.
Will return. Posted on August 5, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ So I came here during lunchtime on a Saturday hoping to crave on some delicious tandoori chicken, nihari and seekh kabab. Its a small restaurant which I believe has a new management. Inside you will expect it to be rather dirty and extremely unclean. The floors were sticky and the tables were just greasy. Yuck! But at the time I was hungry out of my mind so I looked past that. I ordered the Nihari, Seekh Kabab and the the tandoori boneless chicken. My food took rather long to make considering there was no one there. The food finally arrives and I go straight in. The nihari.....No chunks of meet. It didnt even taste like nihari. It was gooey, bland and tasted like it was reheated and was a week old. The tandoori chicken was decent but still I felt that it could do better. And what really got me upset was the salad (onions and lettuce) WERE EXPIRED!?! They were brown, and crunchy! I told the owner and he just scolded me and said that there's nothing wrong with it. The seekh kabab was decent as well but the salad that accompanied the dish just killed my appetite. I really want to like this place. But they just don't know how to run a business and it was kinda pricey as well. Overall, if you are out here in Vancouver, please avoid this place. It's a serious health hazard. Posted on August 10, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ I found this place on zabihah. I call them to confirm it is Halal. When I went there, I was really hungry. The place was very filthy I wanted to leave but since I was hungry and travelled more than 10k to get to it, I decided to eat there. I placed four orders for me and my family. I was watching them making the food and when they took out the meat from the fridge it looked black. All four orders were horrible. The teenagers staff have no idea about hygiene and food safe. They do not use gloves at all and nothing clean there at all. I think this place should be shut down till they sanitize it and make sure it it up to standard . We do not recommend this place at all. I will never go there. It was a big mistake. Posted on December 21, 2010 |

★★★★☆ If you are looking for a dhaba style food, then this the place to go to. The lamb kabobs and chicken BBQ was really good. The butter chicken was OK. The place is really small though but definitely worth going. Posted on October 14, 2008 |

★★☆☆☆ Food is dreadfully spicy, with no real taste. I dont't care if they have non-muslim workers as long as the food is halal but, i don't think they prepare the food carefully enough anymore. Posted on January 11, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Good food at a good price for a quick, hearty meal. Staff are mainly teens though, the place could be more comfortable and professional. Posted on November 13, 2006 |

★★★☆☆ Food is good but again there is a little carelessness in staff. They have non-muslim kitchen staff which is not fair when you advertise 100% halal and guarnteed etc. Posted on March 2, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ They have a sign up that says 100% halal. Their food is delicious. They are especially known for their kebabs. I like the tikka naan. Only complaint is that it is the place is small and kinda grungy. Food is clean and prepared properly - premises is not. Good, spicy east indian fast-food. Posted on March 31, 2002 |
