★★★★★ Food was amazing. I was glad to see a simple menu and warm, welcoming staff. Posted on May 11, 2015 |

|
★★★★☆ I've been here a couple times for lunch and had the gyro wrap. Very good food, friendly staff and a clean place. Posted on October 23, 2014 |
|
|
★★★☆☆ Good gyros and fries, rice not so much. Sediq jaan is very nice & pricing is descent Posted on September 29, 2014 |

|
★★★★★ I enjoyed eating at G and K. it was my first time and the food was delicious and the portions were generous. Posted on May 20, 2014 |

|
★★★☆☆ The food was not that great but I'm not Afghani and perhaps my judgement is flawed. I feel I have had better Afghan food in other restaurants close by.
I did take the food to go, so perhaps it would taste better if I dined in. I may stop by again to satisfy an Afghan food craving but it would not be my first choice. Posted on April 13, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ The place is located in Stater Brothers Shopping Center,on Red Hill. The food is below average and so is the service. The prices are expensive and some orders are frozen and cooked when ordered resulting in cold/icy interior with hot exterior. Cleanliness...I was expecting more: Cleaned and cleared tables , floors and kitchen? It is a mom Posted on June 17, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Ordered bolani, fries, koobideh, gyro, and qubli palao. Food was average and bland. It wasn't very flavorful. Green sauce was good and made food more palatable. Posted on May 31, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Food is good. It would help if they added fresh tandoor. Does not taste exactly like afghan food from back home but I guess we can live with that considering we cant find the same type of meat as back home. Overall not a bad place Posted on January 9, 2012 |

★★★★☆ The food was alright. Had bolani and chapli kabob. I thought the rice was a little oily. Price alright. Service alright. I would consider to go back because of the speciality of afghan food in oc area. Posted on September 19, 2010 |

|
★★★★☆ the only real afghan food they have on the menu is mantu, bolani and chapli kababs. I tried the mantu and bolani and it was very good...the gyros were good as well. Next time I'll try the chaplis. Posted on September 6, 2010 |

★★★★★ Good afghan food. They now serve cheese burgers (off-menu)
If you're ordering to-go at a busy time, call ahead because it can take up to 20-30 minutes. Posted on July 28, 2010 |

|
★★★★☆ Authentic Afghan food, made and served by Afghani brothers.
Delicious entree's at very reasonable prices. If you're lucky, you may get a serving of Afghan tea and baklava while you wait for your order. Posted on April 2, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I've been to this place about 4 times now. It gets better with each visit. I find that when I go with smaller groups, I get much better service. I once showed up with 4 families and they were a little overwhelmed, but that's to be expected.
Now for the food. I can't say that any Afghani food down here can compare to the Bay Area. That food is just something else. But, I will say that Gyro and Kabob works. The food tastes very fresh. The boneless chicken is cooked very well and the rice is perfect. A nice change from many of the Iranian restaurants in the area (which I also like).
The best part of this place is the Boolani and the Ravioli Pillow appetizer (Mantoo). Unbelievably good stuff. This is a nice escape for a quick lunch during work or evening a nice family meal.
The staff is super friendly and are always smiling and helpful. As I get older I realize that service is so important in the dining experience, adding a nice accent to the delicious food.
I would love if they added more Afghani items to their menu and perhaps some more sauces. Posted on February 18, 2010 |

★★★★☆ The food is good. They make it fresh. The rice is excellent. The Gyros are really good - moist and tasty. The service is okay. Posted on December 22, 2009 |

★★★★★ This is the only Afghani restaurant I know of in the southern California area. The service is fast and the hosts extend "mehman nawazi". We had the chapli kabab and sultani platter with kabuli pilau. The prices are really fair. I highly recommend. Posted on May 10, 2009 |

★★★★★ Finally an Afghani zabihah restaurant in Orange County. The food is amazing. The chapli kabobs, boolani, chicken kabob are excellent. The owner and family is very friendly and the place is very clean and decorated very well with everything brand new from tables to chairs. On top of this the prices are very cheap. 4 people can eat for under $30. Posted on April 18, 2009 |

|
★★★★☆ Great food, best Afghan food in Orange County. The menu is a mix of Afghan, Persian and a little Desi. Chapali kabob and Bolani was awesome. I'd definitely recommend this place. Posted on March 26, 2009 |

★★★★★ Been there twice in a week. The chapli kabab is awesome. The prices are quite reasonable and serving is big. Good and fast service. I hope they maintain their standards. Posted on March 25, 2009 |

|
★★★★★ Note : The location as it shows up on google maps is incorrect. The restaurant is located on Red Hill Ave right off the 5 freeway between Nisson Rd and Mitchell Ave. Its next door to the Stator brothers. The food is excellent, I had the gyro kabob, large portions, great price. Really enjoyed it. Posted on March 23, 2009 |

★★★★★ The Food is great. The best description I can give it is Koobidehs with spices. Try the chapli kabob, koobideh, or the gyro sandwich and you won't be disappoiinted. Place is well kept, the service is great but the food by far is a winner at a good price. Posted on March 22, 2009 |
