★★★☆☆ This place is huge! It looks like it might have been a wedding hall before. It's a very nice, fancy place if you want a special night out and it's really not that expensive at all. I don't really like how most of the food is just bathed in a bowl of sauce though because I'm not really a fan of food that gets soggy. It tastes decent at the beginning, but if you eat slow, then the end is going to be hard to eat. Posted on August 10, 2013 |

★★★★★ Great place to take family for dinner. They have great food, service and decor. You must try the Lolly pop Chicken, Chili Chicken and anything that had Tangra in front of it. Posted on December 13, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ I went to this restaurant today and it had a halal sign in the window, when I asked if they served halal meat the answer was yes, then I asked if they served alcohol the answer was yes, that didn't sit well with me can someone answer me this WHY ARE WE MAKING COMPROMISES WITH OUR RELIGION? is it to make a few extra bucks OR to follow the unbelievers, we need to ask ourselves what excuse are you going to tell your lord when asked about alcohol, we NEED to educate our Brothers and Sisters about what is TRULY halal and what is haraam.I hope I didn't offend anyone, but we need to do what is right. ★★☆☆☆ I made reservations for a party of 10 a week before and when my friends started arriving, they told them that we had no reservations. Once my friends were finally seated, we ordered full meals. We paid our bill which came out to $203 and were rudely told by the manager to leave the restaurant while we were still eating our desert. We told the manager that we will leave once we finish our desert but they started moving stuff and our food while we were still eating. The manager started arguing with my friends about leaving. We paid so much to eat here and they didn't even let us eat in peace. To be in a so called halal restaurant and watching them serve alcohol all around us really made us doubt if it is even really halal food. This place is horrible and i will never go back to this place. They messed up our entire day! Posted on April 5, 2009 |

★★★★☆ The food is great as is the decor but left Tangra with apprehension of coming back. We ate there recently and found that the restaurant had a big Christmas tree and some bollywood paraphanolia at the lobby -- after we finished eating noticed that downstairs in the basement they have a bar area (away fromt the "halaal" section of the restaurant). Was kind of dissappointed about that -- i guess if a place advertises as halaal it should have that type of family atmosphere too. Posted on December 22, 2008 |

★★★★★ This is one of the best halal restaurants NYC has to offer. Many of the foods are spicy for those who don't have a spicy palate. Lolipop chicken is a classic favorite. Tangra Masala Beef Chow Mein is fantastic. Crispy Ginger chicken is great, not spicy, has orange zest giving it a sweet taste. Tangra Masala Beef (dry) not bad as well - lots of onions and spicy.
Prices have gone up at this restaurant. Restaurant is always quiet, not too much noise. Posted on November 2, 2008 |

★★★★★ This is definitely the best chinese restaurant I have been to in NY. They have a very nice environment - definitely worth taking your family to. The food is A+++ with A+++ service. They have good dishes not available on other Chinese restaurants. Perfect place to be out on a date. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Cannot wait to go back soon. Guys, definitely check this one out and you definitely wont be dissappointed. Posted on April 12, 2008 |

★★★★★ One of the best Indo/Chinese places in the city. Place has good food which caters well with desi aunties/uncles and young jocks. Key about this place is that is has basmati rice and not that regular fat chinese rice.
Dont get scared by the Menu. Here is a list of MUST Get dishes at this Resturant
1. Hot & Sour Soup
2. General Tsos Chicken (Sizzling)
3. Chilli Beef (Sizzling)
4. Manchurian Chicken (Gravy or Sizzling)
5. Spicy Chicken Wings
5. Beef Hakka Noodles
Get that and you will def love the place. Posted on March 12, 2008 |
