★☆☆☆☆ This place is nothing like the REAL Niralla, I purchased carrot halwa after confirming with the counter person if it was fresh, took it to my hosts whom I was visiting from out of state, almost everybody threw up tasting the first spoon, I was so embarrassed that I stopped by next day on my way back to let them know, the lady at the counter made me taste the same they had on display and told me it was the same I purchased yesterday, that was a surprise because I thought their products were fresh. Anyway she offered me any other sweets equivalent weight to what I took back, I declined the COURTESY and walked out. I had been there customer for years but this place has lost the Niralla quality and I don't accept cheap quality, will never go back. Posted on March 5, 2017 |

★★★★☆ I usually get sweets such as almond and cashew barfi from there. My guests loved it! I also have tried their samosa chat and samosa. It taste great when it's fresh! Posted on June 18, 2016 |

★★★★★ Used to eat snacks and chaat here after jumah. I've never had the actual foods though So I can't rate those. The sweets are the best in the area. Posted on February 25, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Niralla is mostly known for their sweets and appetizers. They specialize in those dishes and do them very, very well. I've never actually ordered the meals here, so I can't comment on those.
I usually get their chaat or their samosas. Both are really good! (Try the chicken samosas!) I'm not so big on sweets, but they have a big selection of freshly-made desi sweets available in large quantities which look delicious.
The service is good, the staff is pretty friendly. I honestly don't always understand the Hispanic woman behind the counter, but she always understands exactly what I want, so I have no complaints. The space is deceptively large. There's limited seating by the entrance, near the front counter. There's also a larger dining area and a separate private room for dining behind it, so they can actually accommodate very big groups as well. It's a clean place and seems to be well maintained.
It's in Brookfield Plaza, which is such a depressing shopping center. It is however one of the oldest and most successful establishments in the shopping center, probably one of the few things keeping that place going. If I'm ever in the area and have some time to kill, Niralla is usually where I'll end up for a little snack before heading back out on my way. Posted on August 24, 2012 |
