★★★★☆ This is a completely-halal restaurant serving Lebanese and American cuisine. The Lebanese cuisine ranges from appetizers (hummus, grape leaves, falafel, mujadara, lentil soup, etc.), salad (fattoush, tabbouleh, etc.), sandwiches (falafel, shawarma, kafta, tawook, etc.), and main courses/platters (shawarma, tawouk, kafta, etc.). The American menu includes pizza with a range of toppings, grinders, hamburgers, etc. There are 4-5 tables inside, so there's enough room for small parties to sit down and eat. There is plenty of parking in the lot, but you probably want to leave the 1995 Acura NSX at home. Catering is available.
The shish tawouk platter ($12) came with two skewers of marinated and grilled chicken on rice with a side of lettuce, hummus, and pita bread. Overall, very well made and worth returning for.
The kadaif (bird's nest) dessert ($3) is shredded filo dough with ground nuts in the middle -- an average dessert.
Would definitely return. Posted on April 24, 2016 |

★★★★☆ Food is really great and delicious. His sandwiches, grinders, gyros and especially the platters are amazing. Everything I've ever ordered was always made fresh, nothing was ever just reheated. Posted on January 8, 2015 |

★★★★★ Amazing customer service, the chef's friendliness is off the charts. I had the mix gyro platter, tasted great. Food was served within minutes of ordering. The food not only tasted great but looked very appealing too, the chef does a great job presenting his dishes. Everytime I am in Windsor I will definitely visit this place. ★★★★★ I ran into this place when I visited a desi restaurant right next to it as it was not previously listed on Zabihah. Every time I go there, I pick up extra few days food THAT is how AWESOME this place is. The owner is a very nice gentleman, friendly staff and has THE BEST grinders. Of all the halal italian/pizza places I have been to this is by far the best. His bread has always been fresh and he DOES NOT SKIMP ON THE MEAT! For the price he piles on the meat! I have to take some off just to fit the sandwich in my mouth. Very generous with ingredients as he is with the pizza toppings. The halal meat is also on display for visual verification and meat is FRESH! Even after I refridgerated it for a couple of days it tastes fresh! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great halal american/italian and even some mediterranean food. I am practically hooked on the pastrami sub. The only thing that is not zabihah is the pepperoni but it is still beef. He has NO pork products. Even the ham is zabihah(turkey based). I encourage brothers and sisters to stop by and try it at least once. I got the website off their menu and just updated it. I hope it shows up soon so you guys can check out the menu. I plan to eventually try all the items on the menu and inshallah will comment on those soon too. Being new to CT its great to be able to find such high quality halal non-desi food :-D
