★★★☆☆ I've been to Samar twice. Unfortunately both times, the service was below par. Items ordered had ran out, service staff also not very well educated on what the menu items meant or what was in the menu. Food failed to impress. The plus points was that the ambience is really nice here. Its a good place to relax (music can be alittle bit loud tho) and chill with friends or to bring tourists to. Good job on the foods and drinks that are special and rarely found in Singapore. However, the basic element of people and waitressing management skills have got to be improved. ★☆☆☆☆ Superb ambience but lousy service! Good food but lousy service! Be prepared for food to arrive 1 1/2 hours late, orders to be misplaced, incorrect orders to be sent. Management who can be seen lounging around instead of managing the restaurant or customers satisfaction. A truly horrible dinner experience.
