★☆☆☆☆ I was in Seaside town while going to 17 mile drive from San Jose. I did not expect a halal place in such a small town, so was excited to see this place. But after eating, I really regret going there. I had gone to McDonalds or Subway or had been hungry for few hours. It is not a restaurent, it is a grocery store. They had put couple of tables in middle, but that was not a big deal. Only thing of concern was that food was REALLY REALLY pathetic. Unclean environment, and dirty rest room (I tried to enter, but returned). Posted on December 8, 2012 |

NR We called this place before we went and was told that this is just a halal market and no food. He said that they are working on it to open a restaurant as well, but did not provide any dates. Posted on May 14, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Decent food. The cafe is a part of the service in a grocery store. Price is ok. The service was good. Posted on February 17, 2011 |

NR Please note, this place also operates as Mediterranean Market. I happened to be in the area and decided to stop by. I tried going here for lunch on a Monday afternoon and the place was not open. Although I do know that the place is not shut down as I could see through the window the place is still operational. I guess it just happened to be closed on Mondays. Posted on November 30, 2010 |

★★★★☆ It is located in the halal market. I had the beef and chicken gyros for lunch . The food was good. The owner was super nice, he offered us naan and ground chicken, which was very tasty and spicy, made in pakistani style. Not much food variety though but will people were very nice and courteous here. Posted on November 30, 2010 |

NR This place is still under the same owner and same name, I know this Br. personally. Please re-activate the record. The owner operates under both business names, even though it says "Mediterranean Market" on the outside. Please don't mark records inactive without asking first....the owners could lose business. NR We were in monterey and decided to eat there. When we arrived, we noticed that the name has changed. Now it is named as Mediterranean market. We asked owner about the food but he did not have any thing ready. Posted on July 1, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Stopped by here since I was in the area for work. It is mostly a grocery store and Halal meat shop, but also serves food. Small seating area inside. I had the gyro sandwich which was decent. Owner is very friendly. Reasonable prices. Posted on June 9, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ The food was really crappy! I called there and the guy told me that it is after hour but he promised to prepare something for me. (BTW, he said that his restaurant is the only Zabiha restaurant in town!) when I went there(I realized that his restaurant is actually part of his Grocery store) he maid some Koofta Kabab and Hamburger for me. It was really bad, I won't go back there again. Posted on December 22, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Out of the way market with a couple of tables for eating from the deli. Food is pretty good, a clean place with friendly service. Posted on May 25, 2008 |

★★★★★ Went here for dinner and was very impressed. The restaurant is set up in a cozy corner of a halal grocery market. the owner is very nice and very welcoming. When I asked about the meat, he stated that all meat is 100% zabihah and is supplied from a place in sacramento. Had the Beef Kabob which were good. I liked the Chicken Biryani as well. Were given some complimentary Halwa and Chunney which were quite tasty as well. Service and attention was extraordinary. The owner seems like a very humble and honest person. He invited me to pray Asr and Maghrib in his office which was very nice. I am in town 1 day and hope to come again soon. For some reason the phone number isn't listed so here it is: 831-392-1100 Posted on April 2, 2007 |
