★★★☆☆ All in all this place was adequate, I rated this place 3 stars due to poor customer service and extremely long wait time for food, after being seated.
My husband and I came to this place because of the limited halal options being served. When entering, the ambience of the place was very nice, Moroccan theme for a Moroccan restaurant, dim lighting. The Mrs. who seemed like the owner never once came to greet us or anything throughout the whole evening, even though she attended other guests who came after us. There was only 1-2 groups inside before we entered and still it took an extremely long time (20-25 min) for the starters to come out. We ordered makouda, which tasted like spicy potato cutlets, and chicken paprika tagine, which comes with soup, rice, and zatar bread. The soup and makouda came out 20 min after we were seated, and the main course 45 minutes after the starters. The main course tasted decent, the rice resembled the desi dish kichri and the chicken was very tender and flavorful with garbanzo beans added. The bread was 4 very small triangles that came with your plate, and if you wanted more they provided 4 more triangles for free. The price was acceptable for the amount of food that came. I probably wouldn’t come here again due to the unfriendly/unwelcoming treatment that we received. Posted on December 25, 2017 |

★★★★★ Salaam,
Alhamdulillah wonderful Muslim owned family Halal Restaurant.
Halal food, Halal people!
Elegant environment, you enjoy visiting there.
InshAllah we'll stop there soon!
Indeed a blessed place as we could also go pray to the nearby Nasreen Mosque and we actually happen to meet with some family from our Bay Area Community, also travelers. Posted on December 11, 2014 |

★★★★★ Salamu Aleikum,
MashAllah this is a great place, perfect stop over or of you vacation in the area. We were staying for the Sycamore Îs Close to the Nasreen Mosque, so we prayed also.
Now to the review: Brother Kareem and his very nice wife are MashAllah
Kareem : amazing food in a truly halal place(NO alcohol on premises).
We had the Halal Lamb Kabob(generous veggies and rice, two giant skewers) and the Tagine D'Atlas(artichoke, potatoes in some incredible sauce).
Other time we had the Halal Chicken Kabob and Artichoke Posted on November 6, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ The staff at this restaurant are very nice. I was visiting from out of town and I was greeted very warmly. I found out that only the lamb was halal. I ordered the Tagine Delight with lamb shank and the Honey Chicken. The Tagine Delight was like eating a fruit salad with a thin syrup and a lamb shank added at the end. There were a couple bites that were interesting but the entire dish was not that good at all. The lamb shank was cooked well but it didn't really fit the dish exactly. My friend had the honey chicken and I was told that it wasn't impressive. Overall for the amount I paid I would have expected something more. The dish was not delicious and it was not filling and it did not come with any sides or anything remarkable. I was very disappointed and hungry when I left. Posted on May 2, 2012 |
