★★★★☆ Background: I'm only reviewing the quality of the food in this review. I am overly critical of halal food places in general so if i say something is good, it HAS to be good. I have yet to call anything excellent. I find this important to tell you all so you have an idea of what kind of person is reviewing the food you may eat. About the food: 1. They have a Lamb/Chicken Only Meat Selection, no Beef (the owners may or may not be Musim but the meat is apparently Halal). 2. They have a Lunch Buffet and Dinner. On Sundays they only do the Lunch Buffet. They are open in the mornings and then close at 1pm and re-open for dinner at 5pm. 3. Their Dinner was absolutely delicious! I have not been able to say this about most places I eat at (I'm usually drastically disappointed with Indian/Pakistani food in general). I can only speak for the Lamb Biriyani, Lamb Curry, Nans and Reshmai Chicken and their Chai Tea (yes they have just plain "tea" as well. The Chai tea is our desi style milk in tea). I give their Dinner an 8/10. (Why not a 10? Well, i tend to err on the side of caution and not over-rate things). 4. The Lunch Buffet- i was a bit disappointed for $11.99. Not as flavorful as their dinner menu but not as bad as going to the usual desi restaurant. I'd give the lunch a 5/10. Hope this helps! Posted on November 14, 2011
