★★★★☆ After reading the above recommendation, I went to eat at Music Pizza today. The palce is very easy to find and not even 5 minutes walk from Termini. By the way if you explore the area, you will find quite a few halal places around termini....such a shame that i was staying on the other side of termini for 5 days now and only came across the food places today!!
anyways the food is good at this Music Pizza. the guy was an Egyptian bloke, very friendly indeed. I had grilled chicken there with potatoes and salad and bread. The chicken was bland, but then mostly arabic food is somewhat bland. and also me being of a Pakistani origin, like my food a bit spicy!...anyways nothing wrong with the place, nice, clean friendly place. you feel so much better when compared to the usual italian pizza places where you are always worried if the veggie food is contaminated with meat or not.
This place also serves pizza, paninis etc. try it! Posted on October 17, 2009 |

★★★★★ A wonderful Halal Place right next to Termini Station (Central Train Station of Rome). We stayed at Bettoja Hotel on Via Cavour and it was right there on the Via Cavour and Via Principe Amedeo.
The owners are known Muslims from Egypt, very nice, gentle and courteous. There's a Halal Sign on the window as well. A small and very clean place to eat in or take out. Clean Washrooms.
The menu included a variety of Italian Halal Pizzas, Paninis and the Mediterranean Shwarma.
Being a Pashtun from Peshawar, Pakistan, we looked for a Halal place that sells meat (lol) on our trip to Rome and found one right next to our hotel, that serves no Alcahol, all halal food and a variety of meat and vegetable products.
An excellent Halal place right next to Termini Station and about 1km away from Coliseum, and only 5 minutes walk from 1st stop of all Sight Seeing Open Tour buses originating from Termini Station.
P.S. there's another Halal South Asian place right infront of Music Pizza (Bangladeshi owners), they have a Halal sign as well as they say they are Muslims, the food is very Indian/Pakistani style (good food tho) but sold Alcahol and was not very clean either, but just in case, if you don't mind the alcahol bottles in the restaurant and looking for Halal Pakistani/Indian/Bangladeshi style food, thats the place.
