★☆☆☆☆ Don't order anything rare, or don't expect it cooked the way you like it! I asked them several times not to over cook my Kabbab and to make the lamb rare, but was met with resistance the whole way in the end the meat was dry over cooked and tasteless. I mean why would they want to please their customers it's not like the customer is gonna eat it! for all who said this place makes the best of anything you need to get out more. it was my second and last time ever ordering from here again the first time the lamb if you can believe it was even more over cooked. ★☆☆☆☆ If you expect a smile or pleasant greeting when you look to eat out, do not go here. The owner of this place is a huge you know what. He is rude, condescending and will patronize you if you point it out. Then came the food. This was the WORST shawarma I've had in Ottawa in recent years and I have been everywhere and have had bad ones. ★★★★★ Great Food, it is completely HALAL. Owners are known Muslims and one time I saw them bring in meat from a local halal supermarket, so they're halal for sure. Great food! Great quality and value, definitely would come back and I HAVE! It's great food! The rice is a special spice style and the salad has bread crumbs. They add a bit of variety compared to other Shawarma places. It's great inside too, very clean. They also marinate their chicken so to me it tastes like the best shawarma chicken in Ottawa. Oh and let's not forget the BEEF and POTATOS! Awesome food. Go out and try it, you'll love it like I did! Posted on August 24, 2010
