★★★★★ Very good food. Nice sit-down restaurant with guarantee that no alcohol is served.
Reasonably-priced for the quality and portions.
Desi restaurants are dime-a-dozen and they come and go. Restaurants like these that provide us alternative cuisines within halal guidelines are rare. And to be treasured. I go there as often as I can, so they can continue to be in business.
I've never been disappointed. The owner is friendly and patient. Posted on August 13, 2014 |

★★★★★ The food was excellent, my favorite dish was the tiger crye. It is an appetizer that is made of New York strip. The soup comes out very presentable, hot, and fresh. I love the steak at this restaurant as well as the chicken in the spicy basil curry. The pad see U noodles were some of my favorite Thai noodles I have had, even better than the pad Thai noodles, if you are looking for halal Thai, this is definitely your go to place!! ★★☆☆☆ The menu here looked really appetizing and I was looking forward to some really good Thai food, but we were disappointed. The place is nice enough, the service is good. The only really good thing we had was the chicken satay with peanut sauce. Everything else was below average. The soup was just ok, far too many mushrooms and they skimped on the meat. Of the main courses we ordered, the flavor wasn't great and the sauces were really watery. The chicken in the larb gai salad tasted old and stale.
Sorry, I really wanted this to be good but it was disappointing overall. Posted on October 10, 2018 |

★☆☆☆☆ I visited this restaurant with high hopes after reading the reviews here. I liked the way they treated us with respect and owner also suggested us from menu which is a good thing for first timers. We ordered Beef Panang, Shrimp Rice and Shrimp Noodles. Beef Panang was the winner for adults and Noodles for kids. The only thing i got upset was that they charged 18% Tip without my consent which added 6.81$ more. On calling back they told me it's thier policy to charge this on party of 4 or more. I was with my 3 kids and wife and it actually kind of pissed me off. I never seen this kind of senseless policies in any non-muslim fine dining restaurants. This is 2nd or 3rd time I observed this and really getting upset the way we treat customers and do business.
May Allah show us right path. I don't want to post anything negative but wanted to make sure other Brothers and Sisters knew this before visiting this place.
Not going there again for sure. Posted on August 14, 2017 |

★★★★★ Love this place. excellent thai food!! The owner was very friendly. They offer a 15% discount on sundays so ask for it.
The food was excellent. we ordered pad thai, panang curry, some friend rice with beef, chicken and shrimps, cashew chilli chicken and some other entrees on the suggestion of the waitress (forgot the name of those. thai names are hard to pronounce let alone remember them).
Pad thai was the best, followed by cashew chilli chicken. fried rice were great too. no complaints at all.
Serving size was decent and overall the service was good. We will go back for more.
PS: If the owner is upfront about the halal status and that they sell machine cut meat, then there is no need to complain here. A lot of scholars agree that machine cut is halaal too. No need to pass judgments here about others. If you dont want to eat machine cut, dont go there or talk to the owner first. it does not take long to call them.
We did not ask the owner about whether it is machine cut or hand cut. To us, if a muslim says that it is halaal, we eat it. end of story! Posted on December 14, 2015 |

★★★★★ I just went here last night (9/3/2014)
The owner was really nice. I got the beef panang curry with a spice index of "Thai hot". I must say, it was pretty delicious. I talked to the owner about the meat. He stated that the meat is Zabihah, but not hand cut. I like the fact that he was straight up about the meat's history.
Overall, the food was great and the service was great. I am very difficult to please when it comes to my beef panang curry. This is the first time I was willing to eat left overs from thai. I give this dish 5/5 stars.
Service: 5/5 stars - Very personable and prompt service
Environment: 4/5 stars (for this visit). - We had arrived at 8pm (closing was at 9:30) and there was already a smell of bleach from the floors being mopped. I am happy that the place was freshly cleaned, but the bleach was a little overwhelming for the first 20 minutes or so. Posted on September 3, 2014 |

★★★★★ This is by far the best Halal Thai place in Atlanta that I've tried. Same recommendations as others here. Reasonable prices and good portions. As for the brother giving 1/5 and talking about selling their deen. Get a life. If you don't agree, go eat somewhere else, but don't talk bad about another Muslim. We can have different opinions without being derogatory. Posted on September 1, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Salaam Aleykum,
It is shame that the owner of this resturant who call themselves muslim selling there chicken items as Zabihah Halal. Just to save few dollars they are selling there Emaan.
Machine Cut is Haram and if you think machine cut from resturant depot is Zabihah Halal then there is something really wrong about you.
I came to your resturant 3 times and everytime you told me it is Zabihah Halal but you gave me Haram.
You made me really angry. May Allah guide you to the write path and save other muslims from you.
If you fear Allah swt and Hell then please stop selling Machine Cut(Haram) chicken. Posted on April 21, 2013 |

★★★★★ This place is wonderful. I loved the food. The people who own and work here are so nice. It is a great place to bring your family and friends for a quiet dinner. I really love the drunken noodles with chicken, the pad krapao with beef, and the basil fried rice. I have never had such great thai food before. I live pretty far from this place, and I haven't ever regretted it. I don't know what I would do without this place. Posted on November 19, 2012 |

★★★★★ The food here is awesome! The Pad Kaprao Chicken was very good. We also had the Shrimp in Blankets, Spring Rolls, and the Crabmeat Cheese Rolls, which were very good. I was pleasantly surprised by the Tom Kha (coconut soup). We aren't from the area, but will find reasons to visit Taste of Thai again and again! The waiter was very nice and funny! The owner is very handsome and seemed genuinely concerned about how we enjoyed our meal. Posted on April 3, 2012 |

★★★★★ This was not my first trip to Taste of Thai!! The food is consistently amazing! I have tried several different meals (the basil chicken and crab rolls are my favorite), and all have been full of flavor. The portion sizes are large, a great value for the price. The service was great, and the owner stopped by the table personally to ensure that our meal was perfect! I highly recommend Taste of Thai! I will be back for sure! Posted on March 15, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Visiting Atlanta on business and decided to eat at Taste of Thai since it was right beside Karchi Broast. Decent service and above average food. Had the Peppercorn beef and pad thai noodles. Good food, but a little pricey as the bill came to about $35 for 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. Posted on March 12, 2012 |
