★★★★★ Place was beautiful and food was delicious! Very fresh and unique seasoning. Portions were good size (not super large, but not small) and well balanced. Service was also very hospitable. Highly recommend! Posted on January 1, 2020 |

★★★☆☆ The restaurant is clean and probably one of the nicer halal places to sit down and eat at in the area. The food is ok. Half of us liked it a lot and the other half though it was average. The beef shawarma seemed very salty (both times I tried it). Chicken shawarma was better. Posted on November 17, 2018 |

NR This restaurant is in a shopping center not to far from Niagara Falls. We were a large party and had a whole assortment of food.
It's a nice small restaurant that has a setting almost like you were in a cafe.
The owners are nice and greet you with a smile.
We ordered a bunch of assorted platters sampling a bunch of dishes such as
Grilled chicken breast
Shwarma
Shish Kabab
Falafel
Humus
Baba ghanouj
We had a large party 12 people - so we threw them off as they were a bit flustered with all of our orders and it didn't seem like the kitchen was comfortable serving so many people aall at once. So the food came out scattered.
Once the food came out though it was really flavorful and worth the wait.
The humus had the right blend of olive oil and garlic. Creamy without being watery.
The chicken breast was cooked perfectly without being dry.
The gyro was in large pieces but the kids ate it which means that it was perfect (kids are really finicky)
The shish kabab was what I suggest as it was flavored well and cooked medium well.
All in all a nicely decorated small place. Right next door to Popeye's Posted on September 6, 2017 |

★★★★★ This new restaurant is what this city is needed.
When visited with my family, we were greeted warmly by the staff.
We had lunch today. The food was second to none..
Both chicken & beef shawarma were excellent.
We ended our lunch with a fantastic cheesecake and Moroccan Tea which came with colourful glasses.
Thank you Palms Restaurant for your hospitality.
We will definitely be back for more Posted on February 10, 2017 |

★★★★☆ Medium sized restaurant/cafe on Lundys Lane. Went in for lunch today with my husband. We were greeted right away by a friendly young man at the counter. He explained the menu to us as this was our first time visiting.
We ordered the Shish Tawook Platter (chicken breast cubes) and Mixed Shawarma Platter. Platters come with rice, hummus and fattoush, but you can replace either of those with tabbouli or baba ghanoush.
We waited about 15 mins for our food, but we could see that it was being freshly made on the grill in their open kitchen. When the food came I was a little worried the Shish Tawook would be dry because it looked overdone, but I was so wrong. The chicken was soft, juicy and succulent and full of flavor. I usually don't like par boiled rice, but they were able to infuse some subtle flavor into it that made it really tasty. The hummus was smooth and creamy but a little heavy handed on the tahini. The fattoush was a little under dressed but otherwise it was good.
The beef shawarma on the mixed platter was a little dry but still had good flavor. The chicken was spot on.
They also serve a variety of specialty coffees and desserts. We ordered 2 slices of cheesecake; coffee caramel and mixed berry. Oh man...if you like coffee and you like cheesecake, definitely get the coffee cheesecake! The cake a little dense, but the flavors are so good!
The chef, the young man at the counter and the owners wife all checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. Service was great!
Only had 2 small issues:
1) the restaurant was cold. But that could have been because they have an open kitchen (so keep the heat low) and don't want the restaurant to get too hot cause of the heat from the grill
2) I thought there was a little too much oil on top of my hummus
But honestly, even with these issues, it's just me being picky.
We will definitely be eating here often and probably catering for parties as well. Posted on February 8, 2017 |
