★★★★☆ I visited Niagara Falls in June 2019 and ate lunch here. Nice place and great location to the falls. Price is a little expensive, but it's to be expected given the location and tourist focus. Ordered lamb chops with rice and salad. You get 5 pieces, but they're small. Ordered coffee to take away, but served without lids. Asked for a lid, but they don't have lids for the take away cups - so not really a take away as it'll spill if you drive. Posted on August 2, 2019 |

★★★★★ Visited here in June 2017 and again November 2017. In June we had about 20 people in our group and in November was just my family of four. Everyone really enjoyed the food. the shawarma plate dishes are a very large portion. The kids loved the chicken tender meal with fries. I always have the meat lovers pizza. Prices are good considering it is located in the Clifton Hill Tourist area. Definitely a repeat. Posted on January 4, 2018 |

★★☆☆☆ To start off with a positive note, pizza was good (we ordered plain cheese).
Everything else was cold, oily and/or stale. We will never go to this place again. Posted on September 3, 2016 |

★★★☆☆ Went to Niagara Falls and decided to eat dinner there,
i.e. dine in. Fish sandwich and beef burger were good. The service however is very odd. My mom asked for a glass of water and was told that they don't serve water in glasses and that she'd have to buy a bottle. My mom and I thought it was rather rude that for dining in patrons, water couldn't be served.
If they're Muslim, wouldn't it just be Sunnah to serve water? Posted on September 1, 2016 |

★★★☆☆ We went to the restaurant for dinner. It was in the middle of Sunday in August. Busy place and has great food with fair service. Prices is little high. I would recommend eating at this restaurant. Posted on August 15, 2016 |

★★★★☆ I have visited Casablanca and was pleased with the service. Two near by halal restaurants (Afghan kabob and Qila) were closed in this area. Thus, i gave it a try. I have order chicken and beef kabobs with some refreshments. Kabobs were good however, Pita bread was served cold and burned out. Thus, i spoke with waiters and immediately understood the problem, and went above and beyond to fix it.
Later, I asked the person in front for a place to pray and he provided carpet behind the store for prayer. The prices are a bit expensive here, but overall it was good. Posted on July 28, 2016 |

★☆☆☆☆ WE visited Casablanca and ordered shwarma poutine 2 entrée ,burger and crispy chicken .We were very disappointed with the quality. On the name of Poutine a new dish so called the plate full of fries topped with gravy that make fries soggy and small amount of chicken with excessive amount of cheese. The crispy chicken was marinated for along time and it had to much oil in it also it smelled strange. When we complained they gave us one shwarma wrap but it was not good either truly disappointing place to visit on the name of HALAL also it is extremely expensive . All of our dishes were pretty much just fries and we spent $77.00 on fries. Think before going to Casablanca! Posted on October 10, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Visited with family on a week night. We were amazed at the speed they delivered the chicken Cesar salad followed by two pizzas. Seriously the fastest we've ever had anywhere. The chicken was delicious and pizzas too. The only reason I give them four out of five is that the windows and the toilet could be cleaner. But we'll go back for the food hoping that they make extra effort to become super clean. Posted on July 30, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ I have been there before and I noticed a sharp decline in their performance this time. It took them 30 min to get a very simple order to us. Then they mixed up the order with other customer, then it took them ANOTHER 30 mins to get the correct order. We were almost leaving. And then billing was all messed up, apparently I was getting my dishes free and I had to remind them to pls take the money for the food which I ate !!! Quite disorganized service; not sure the servers were part time or what... With so many other good halal choices now in the area, I don't think I am coming back there. Also the food quality and taste was below average and prices high relative to the quality of food. I had visitors from out of time with me and I was actually embarrassed to make this suggestion for lunch. Posted on July 25, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ We've eaten here on many occasions in the past and were always happy, however our Easter long-weekend trip with the family to Niagara ended in disappointment when we went here for dinner. For starters, as it was winter, and their outdoor patio was not open, people were smoking the shisheeh INSIDE the location - and not just one table or one side, but EVERYWHERE! My family are very sensitive to smoke and so after sitting for 5 min. and realizing that you can smoke at any table we decided to take out and eat in our hotel room - this is my first major problem with this place - is there nothing the health ministry can do about this? We then proceeded to order food - Chicken sharwarma pizza and chicken strips platter for my young child. The pizza was strange as it was NOT chicken sharwarma but rather large chunks of chicken - definitely not what was advertised. In addition, the sauce on the pizza (garlic sauce/white sauce) was minimal such that the pizza was extremely dry to eat - if not impossible. My child's meal was OK at best - a few chicken strips and a few fries. The coleslaw was very little - honestly about 5 tea spoons full and that was it. There was also gravy and mashed potatoes - again about 5 tea spoons of it. I think this entire meal cost around $50.00 and can safely say that it was one of my worst experiences ever at this restaurant. Granted they were busy but there were atleast 15 people working that I could see - so being busy is not an excuse. I would definitely NOT be going to this place again - I would rather pack a meal of sandwiches from home to eat on my next outing. Posted on April 18, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Food, price and service - all garbage. Not sure if reviews that gave if 5/5 are fake or if those folks have never tried good middle eastern food. Food takes a while to come. When it does come, it is dry. One of the servers was on the phone when taking an order! The other seemed to be upset all the time. Anyway, i would rather starve than go back there. ★★★★★ Great food amazing staff, quick service a little pricey though which was expected since its Niagara
Food was made very quickly and one dish was delayed for which the owner himself came out and apologized.
Maybe its just me but the pizza was amazing Posted on August 3, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Not sure what others saw in this place as I have never had worse shawarma in my life. These guys were insanely busy the night we were in Niagara Falls...that might be a reason for the poor quality of food. The chicken shawarma we had tasted like it was boiled and then slightly grilled..probably b/c they were so busy they wanted to cook their chicken faster? Anyways, won't ever go there again. ★★★☆☆ Great Service! Good Food, reasonably priced considering most of the portions were large. We had BATATA HARRA - a big plate of potatooes, chicken shwarma pizza , Baba Ghounash was great but a little small portion. All tasted good. Ambience ok. On the whole a good place and we muslims must support Posted on October 28, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Asalaam alikum, we tried this restaurant on a recent trip, it actually is two restaurants a pizza place and an arabic restaurant both serving halal. Overall i would say average food, everything we ate was BLAND. It is expensive like everything in niagara falls around $20 per person. I think fish sandwichs at mcdonalds would be a better deal. ★★★☆☆ We ate here late at night (1am)
since the other halal places were closed. Ambience not great but staff were friendly. Burger was ok but the baba ganoush and batata hara were delicious and fresh. Arabic tea was awesome and a nice way to end the meal. A bit overpriced but so is everything in Niagara Falls. Posted on March 24, 2012 |

★★★★☆ We friends had a chance to walk in to their new location last sunday. They were remarkable. Their hospitality was more than anything. We walked in almost at their closing time( a min prior to closing ) but they were so nice to product us service. We ordered their signeture pizza's and we all loved the shamrma pizza's they were defenitly different. We also ordered wings and the owner were nice enough to concider with some more extra. It was a great experience. Thanks for everything. Also we enjoyed the little chat we had after meal. Always recommand. Posted on January 17, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I was surprised to see so many halal options in the Niagara Falls area. Went to two others which were closed before we came to Casablanca. They had middle eastern food, baskin robbins, and a pizza place all rolled into one. We had the shawarma and it was decent. The service was good-- I asked for a glass of water and the manager just told me to grab a bottle of water. I noticed an issue with another customer and the manager just offered the food for free. Decent food but great customer service--goes a long way! Posted on November 29, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Food taste average, too expensive (kebab plate of 2 skewers for $18 tax)!!!
And the seating area although large enough, it has no smoke free area to host kids/families away from smoke!!!! Posted on November 7, 2011 |

★★★★☆ I visited Casablanca Rest. with my GF. We enjoyed there food and the Herbal hooka they have. There washrooms were little dirty but as soon i notified the manager, he had it clean with in the matter of minutes. Staff was very friendly, i will definitely go back. Posted on October 16, 2011 |

NR Food was pretty good. It is located right by Niagara falls. Their chicken Tawook sandwich is delicious. Ate there quite a few times while my three day trip with the family. Platters are kind of expensive but sandwiches (wrapped in pita) are ok price but delicious. Would definitely recommend if one is in the vicinity. Posted on September 20, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ If there is an eatery which embodies rudeness (expletives to a fellow customer), high prices, low portions and messed-up orders with average food all in one, this one surely takes the cake.
This happened with us on a day when we had the ill fortune to enter this joint with a group of 10 adults plus few toddlers during 3rd week of July' 2011 when the temps. in GTA were soaring to mid-40s with humidity.
We should have gone to Popeyes with our teenage kids a couple of kilometres away, but we decided to give a try this somewhat fancy looking halal restaurant with enough seating for 10+ people in this tourist area.
I dunno whether it was the hot and humid weather or something else afflicting him which made the person wrapping the shawrma to use the f-word to a fellow customer because he complained about a missed ingredient in a gentle way. (Using expletives on a customer is no excuse no matter what the situation).
Main entrees although pricey were very bland and tasteless , shwarma sandwich were okay and so was hummus. Price of water bottle is almost 2 dollars. What a rip-off from a Muslim restaurateur ... I think they should be easy going at least on a price of water bottle ... it doesn't cost them more than 10 cents in wholesale.
This happened in late July' 2011 .. for their sake I hope they have improved by now and will improve a notch in terms of quality of food and customer service because they sit in one of the world's most popular tourist attraction and their attitude and service is a reflection on Muslims. ★★☆☆☆ Overall, Niagara Falls tourist attraction Halal food options are limited and based on that I will call this food slightly below average (especially from a service aspect). I personally would rather stick to vegetarian or Sea food in some of the other fine dining given the quality of halal food is just isn't there at any restaurant around Niagara Posted on August 15, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Excellent food and service. I had my lunch several times here as I am traveling for business in Niagara/fort Erie region Posted on August 2, 2011 |

|
★★★☆☆ We went here and had great service because my father-in-law knows the owners. The food is most definitely halal. Their hummus is very good, but their beef kababs were just ok. I agree that the flavor is lacking. It's really just an ok establishment. Adding hot sauce is what helps sustain the flavor in their food. Posted on July 31, 2011 |
|
|
★★★☆☆ halal as they confirm me , food is normal , service is not that good , it is good to order first and then take the number ans sit , better than waiting them to come to you, i liked the tea !! Posted on July 13, 2011 |
|
|
★★★☆☆ Food was average and prices were on the high side. Food was served quickly but the owner started cleaning our table before we finished, Lady without hijab was more helpful and smiling then the rest. We ordered 2 entrees and 2 drinks got a 55$ check. Next time fish sandwich would be a better deal. Posted on July 12, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Alright went to niagara last week, Looking for halal resturants and the only one i could find in Niagara were Tarboosh and Casblance i was very happy. Tarboosh was close to went to Casblanca. they have huge sign say's they serve halal. Food is not that great. Price for being in Niagara fall's i understand, 2 people $45 2 chicken Shawarama, lassy and coke can, but the Food should be very good. I would not recommand eating there if you are going on a trip. I would rather eat at Mcdonalds fish then at this place. Drive 45 min down to Mississagua Alot of great Halal food. Posted on June 12, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ The picture featured is the old restaurant; they have moved across the street. Prominent signs on awning and in window saying food is 100% Halal.
Food itself was mixed. The falafel, hummus, and babaganouj were awesome, tasted fresh. We got beef kabob, it was cooked fresh, but didn't have much flavour.
The woman working there seems very nice. The men working there didn't seem very interested.
The other reviews of this place scared me off, but I am glad I went. I would go again. Posted on August 14, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ We were so excited to see a halal store. we ordered & sat down .waited..waited..waited about 40 minutes. My husband went to the counter and asked about our food. The waiter said he lost our order and later said he gave our order to someone else? we only waited ten more minutes to get our greasy shawarma. It was the most greasy shawarma we ever ate.We think it was fryed.Very over priced too! Everyone around us was smoking argeela.we were literally surrounded by smokers on all sides. And did i forget to mention since he was late w our order he offered us a small bowl of rice on the house!!Can u beleive it?? What about some chicken or falafel?? I went later and asked for more bread and she gave me cold pita bread.Where is the service and respect we get.the waiter/waitress never came to our table. This is the first time in history my husband never gave a tip.Its a shame to call this place halal. Posted on July 11, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ We went to Casablanca last weekend and asked the staff where they purchased their halal meat from. The two women working there did not know but said it was halal. We asked them to find out through someone else. They brought in another staff member who also did not know where the meat was from and said he'd ask his manager.
We waited a few minutes until he got back and told us that they get it from Toronto from a store called 'Halal'.
Needless to say, we left and ate somewhere else. Posted on August 7, 2008 |
