Loated in the heart of Greenwich Village, The Kati Roll Company has enjoyed growing popularity since opening in 2002, earning both critic's awards and the approval of a diverse clientele. ★★★★☆ Went to this location with one of my wife's cousin from Houston.
We had a few different kati rolls.
We had the chicken thika kati roll
the shami kabab kati roll
the beef beef tikka kati roll
Definitely liked the shami and the chicken the best. The beef was a bit dry. The place is cramped and there isn't much seating at all. So be ready to take out and eat outside of the restaurant. They were very nice in helping us pick the type of kati roll to get.
Definitely, nice good food and a nyc staple. Worth checking out. Posted on May 26, 2017 |

★★★★★ Tried the Chicken Tikka Roll, Beef Tikka Roll and Shrimp Masala Roll. The rolls were delicious. They are very generous with the meat but $5 for your basic kabab roll is expensive. It's something to try at least once but not a regular thing at these prices. Posted on January 17, 2016 |

★★★☆☆ Positive: Popular Kabab roll place that tries to bring you back to the origins of this dish.
Negative: Overly rated and expensive due to the uniqueness of the rolls they sell.
Overall: Good place to go if you are craving Kabab Rolls. Posted on July 28, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ went their saveral times....and their rolls were always great well little bit expensive as compare to their portion size...as we always have to eat 2 rolls.. Posted on October 12, 2011 |

★★★★☆ I have heard conflicting reports about them being halal or not but we asked if they were halal when we went and they said yes so I took their word for it. THEIR KATI ROLLS ARE GREAT even if slightly expensive in my opinion. But the food is good and I am willing to pay extra for that. The Kati Roll in New Brunwick is very bad in comparison. ★★★★★ The negative reviews are not warranted. Great tasty rolls, especially chicken. Wish it was cheaper but it's NYC. Highly recommend for light lunch or snacking! Posted on April 10, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Food is ok, pricey and not that great. I'm not the biggest fan of Kati Roll in New Brunswick NJ either. Posted on July 21, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ i am grossly disappointed in the food lately.
its bad enough justifying the price, but food is now just bad. Posted on February 24, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ .. the rolls r really nothing special.. u can make it at home.. but still there is a difference in eating it at home n outside.. the rolls r really good but too expensive.. Posted on May 10, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I had asked in the past if they are halal they said no. Other friends told me that they are. I went recently and asked again and the guy said yes. I asked where they get their meat, the man got defensive and said "sister, if I say its halal, its halal" which i guess is true, but he was clearly not convincing enough, so aloo (potato) and paneer (cheese) rolls it is for me (which is very dry although I heard they have chutnee). ★★★★★ The good was great, but a little expensive. The owner, who is Muslim, assured me that the food is halal. Since he is a Muslim, we have no reason to doubt him. Posted on March 3, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ I don't know who thehashcat spoke with, but this restaurant is owned and maintained by Bengali Muslims. It is halal. The food is quite expensive for what you get though. Posted on June 21, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ the food is honestly nothing special..you can make it at home with much ease..plus this place is extremely expensive...the owners must think they have some kind of original idea..because they charge wayy too much Posted on May 13, 2005 |
