The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. There is a sign outside that the food is halal. There was also verbal confirmation from the staff.
★★★★★ The restaurant has a very nice ambiance. The food quality was good. We had the chicken shawerma and chicken slouvaki. Both tasted great.
The price was a bit high, but not too unreasonable. Its a college town and so relative to the surroundings its not horrible. We went hiking nearby and this was a nice surprise.
The owner was very nice. We asked to pray and he directed us downstairs, which was a musalla area with carpets and even a Quran. Posted on October 8, 2014
