★★★☆☆ Decent food, ambiance typical---TV with news showing. Moroccans own it. We were the only ones there. UPDATE: I went there again and the place had more customers. They seem to be building a hookah-lounge type section. Not my cup of tea as a Muslim. Then again we have to admit the place is clean and the service is good and this is exceptional for us. Whether its the chicken or beef shwarma, the falafel, or kabobs, whether you have it wrapped in their warm, delicious and large pita bread, or resting on their delectably flavored rice, your meal at the House of Kabob is made to order and is sure to satisfy! I sprinkle a dash of salt on mine to enhance the exotic flavors of the Mediterranean style meats and rice, culminating in a mouth watering experience that will leave you wanting more!! Located next door to the CCSU campus, they are in close proximity to much of West Hartford, Farmington, Newington, and New Britain, making it easy to dine in, carry-out, or to get delivery. I have tried most of the menu and so far everything tastes excellent. The falafel and grape leave rolls also make for nice sides. Want something more conventional? ★★★★☆ The food is very affordable, I had the kabob plate which includes humus, salad, and 3 kinds of meat, all for 10 dollars. Prepared fresh and tastes good.
