★★★★☆ Visited this place about 2 years ago. I forgot to enter my review back then. We had about 30-40 people in our group. All ages from 5-75 years old. I remember everyone being pretty satisfied with the taste, portion sizes and the prices. I am not sure why everyone else has such bad reviews. Posted on January 4, 2018

★☆☆☆☆ This review is for the MEADOWALE LOCATION ONLY: the other mississauga branch I went to there were no issue however tried take out from this location and was horrified! We ordered a biryani, seekh kabab, bihari kabab and some nans never thinking to check if the order was correct or not ( Cuz well you are running a food business and I would think the most important and probably the easiest thing is to note down an order correctly) which was not the case. Picked up the food and went home. Bihari kabab was not there at all, it was replaced by some other bland boneless chicken thing that was so tasteless i would be surprised if anyone actually orders it by choice... The seekh kababs did not taste like seekh kababs at all and believe me I know the authentic taste... The worst part was that the "salad" they were very generous to give with our order consisted of rotten lettuce! It was actually brown! I can't believe the person preparing the order had the guts to put that in there....I mean if that rotten stuff can make it to a customers bag imagine what nastiness might be going on in the kitchen... Very disgusting and disappointing to say the least, never going back to this location, and if anyone cares about their health, would advise others to do the same. Posted on February 12, 2015

★☆☆☆☆ I ordered here for the first time for a party and was disappointed. The food tasted like oil and had no taste. The biryani was ok but I have had better. ★☆☆☆☆ I would avoid this restaurant. Portions are small and our server took our order and pre-payment then swapped our meals that came with Rice with French Fries instead of disclosing they had run out of rice ahead of time. In addition we drove out from Oakville due to a promotional coupon they gave out at the Halal food fest to attract new customers to their Meadowvale location but the Staff refused to honor it even though it was valid for the date and location. The venue was also fairly unclean which was odd given that it was fairly slow on the Wed night when we arrived. Posted on June 26, 2014

★★☆☆☆ Went to this restaurant for the very first time today. Not impressed at all with the portion sizes, quality, or service. I ordered the Bihari Kabob combo with fries. After messing up my order by giving me rice instead of fries, I was finally given the combo with cold fries. Portion of Bihari kabob was tiny. Not even enough to use up 1/2 naan. Definitely not worth anywhere close to $12. The owner's level of service was terrible. Despite me telling him that I was there for the very first time, he had the nerves to ask me for 25 cents when I asked him to put an extra chutney in the take out bag!! Even after he had wasted my time by getting the order wrong ! Overall, poor service, very small quantity, and cold food. Posted on February 17, 2014

NR VERY EXPENSIVE, EXTREMELY SMALL QUANTITY AND TO TOP IT ALL, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I visited this place yesterday afternoon with my 2 friends; we eat out once a day, so the following comments are backed by experiences in other restaurants across east canada. The butter chicken quantity was so less that for the first time ever I went and spoke to the counter person. He said that when you take out its more and plus you get 10% off!?!?! The tables were all dirty, the food didn't taste good at all and was $60 for 3 people. If we didn't had to go for work that night, I would have just walked away. Definitely never going back there! ★★☆☆☆ This location in particular is really giving Karachi Kitchen a bad name I went here 2-3 times now, tried the nihari, and chicken karhai, and it was not good at all, was not what i expected from them one bit. Very disappointing. The Biryani is ok, but over priced, almost $10!! ★★★☆☆ Folks I had a lot of high expectations from Karachi kitchen, as I have been their customer for 10 years! I went to this place and have mixed reviews. Some items were great and others were just nasty. Perhaps they just opened and may improve over time.....I hope. The following are the pros and cons: Pros: 1) Service - the staff was very friendly and sincere to please. The food came out on reasonable time as well. 2) Bihari kebab- very tender, spicey, and tasty. A must try 3) Chicken Biryani- boneless and nice tasting 4) Chicken malai tikka- nice breast meat tikka. Cons: 1) Karahi chicken: absolutely disgusting. The dish tasted like bland tomatoe purée from a can and the chicken was not fresh. This dish was a disaster....stay away 2) Seekh kebab: bland and under cooked. Plus the kebab had a very unusual texture, almost like a sausage 3) Very expensive: all dishes were above the $10 range I really hope these people improve as they worked really hard to bring up thier location at Dixie.
