★★★★☆ Really good hakka style food.
Inquired about halal status and they showed the certificate. So all meat is halal by default now. Posted on January 30, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Ordered Chilli chicken with gravy. The chicken tasted old and was rubbery. When we complained, the waiter suggested to try the dry as he thought it was the taste. When we tried the dry chilli chicken, the chicken was the same....old tasting and rubbery.
The staff is really friendly and ambience is great, the food is not so good. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Posted on November 9, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Went there on friday night, ordered beef fried rice and dragon chicken. The food was ok, but later on Me and my friend were throwing up all night long. The cause being food poisoning. I suggest to think twice before going there. Also they serve alcohol, and claim to serve halal. Posted on January 10, 2007 |

NR When asked if the food was halal, they said "only under special-order". Meaning I had to ask for it specially, and they would use halal meat when cooking. I didn't know what to make of that. Posted on December 16, 2006 |

★★★★☆ We ordered take-out from them. It took a very long time to get our food...over 30 min. But it was a saturday night and very busy in the restaurant. Anyways we ordered the chile beef, sweet & sour chicken, veggie chow mein, bombay chicken. All were pretty good. The bombay chicken is fried pieces which are kinda sweet...definitely worth a try! The interior of the restaurant is pretty small, but the interior decor looked alright. Posted on October 29, 2006 |

★★★★☆ Good food but they serve alcohol now. This tends to draw some suspicion on their *verbal assurance* of Halal status. We trust the word of those who are Muslim. Anyone know if owners/staff are known Muslims? (I'll ask next time I go -- before I eat) If they are known Muslims, it may be worthwhile to advise them that serving alcohol is worse than consuming it personally helping others in haram is haram multiplied.
