★★★★☆ Went here recently for lunch on a weekday. Smells like Pakistan when you walk in (because of the kitchen being close to the seating). Tried the mixed kabab grill which comes with several different types of kababs including Seekh, Bihari and Tandoori pieces as well as Fried Fish. All the kababs were good. It also comes with Naan which was buttered (which I like because many places don't do that). We also ordered Chicken Karai on the side and that was just OK, because the chicken pieces were too large (mostly bone) and hard to eat with naan. Mango Lassi was good, as it was not too sweet. Overall was pretty good experience. Posted on March 1, 2018 |

★☆☆☆☆ Complete disappointment!!!. They were out of Chapli kabob, Biryani and Bihari kabob on Friday at 6 PM. From platter, they replaced Chapli Kabob with Seek Kabob and all I got was burned black tasteless kabobs. Nihari was not good at all, Mango lassi glass was half empty. I don't know why this restaurant is crowded. There are much better place in Mississauga. Posted on July 31, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Good food, but service is SHIT. Then again too many folks trying to get a table. Need to do something about this. Waited over 1hr to get a table!! Posted on July 5, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Possibly the dirtiest restaurant in all of Canada. I don't know how they pass Ontario Food Inspection Posted on January 8, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ LOCATION (SATISFACTORY)
BarBQ Tonight, Mississauga is a small brick building in a locality that looks like New York City's off-Times Square main roads at night. It was 10 pm and the parking lot opposite to it was deserted. I recommend that since there is a fair chance of being mugged at night while crossing the road, one must try to park in the small back alley next to the eatery itself for closeness' sake.
AMBIANCE (GOOD)
The first thing that greeted us was a waiting line. Apparently, it was peak rush hour at 10 pm. With the interior design of the place, they have preserved the live BarBQ cooking scene inside the restaurant. In Karachi this scene is out on the road. It looks good inside the eatery and thankfully it is enclosed within a glass cell kitchen to keep the heat from roasting the customers. The tables were wooden, neat, and covered in red table cloth. The windows that faced the main road outside, their sills were decorated with traditional Pakistani decorative displays. There was the colorful transport art, and the Sheesha (or Hookah) on display. The walls were decorated with sequinned quilts with artful patterns reflective of the works from Taxilla I believe.
ENVIRONMENT (SATISFACTORY)
There was severe chaos because the cooks and servers were all in a mad rush. I was already nerve-wrecked from the road trip and an instant migraine was triggered. The noise level was pretty high. This was alright though because it is not an upscale diner but a decent family-time restaurant. We were very lucky to get a seat in a couple of minutes.
STAFF AND SERVICE (POOR)
The biggest turn off, I believe, is in the staff and service. There were inadequate waiters to tackle the night rush. Apparently, there was only one waiter who was multitasking between taking orders, serving food, and distributing takeaway parcels. After being seated, it took a long 15 minutes before the waiter attended us and took our order. A party of 13 had been seated before us so it took a killer amount of time for our turn with the ordering. The food took another good 20 minutes to be served. One waiter was serving drinks - he forgot ours and did not respond until we were one-third of the way into our dinner, and one waiter who was serving food.
The staff needs serious training. A server behaved quite inappropriately when I was checking out. They have one of those hand-held card-swiping and data entry machines which they give you when you pay via credit card. I must have missed a message on that asked you to enter the amount of tip (gratuity) for the server. I would have tipped him separately, of course. But being the blabbermouth that he was, he demanded to be paid and reminded me that I missed paying his tip. I was pretty furious, because his facial expression intended that I had intentionally not entered his tip. And this was on top of his delayed service and deaf year to our drinks reminders.
THE FOOD & PRICES (OUTSTANDING)
We ordered Seekh Kebabs, Chicken Tawa, Nihari, Garlic Naan, and Naan. The food was OUTSTANDING. They have maintained the standard of the Pakistani franchise very, very well. It was worth going through all the hassle and chaos. The prices were reasonable. The kebabs were very juicy and well spiced. Chicken Tawa was absolutely delicious. Garlic Naan is a must have and should not be missed.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Park well and safe and walk in prepared for rush and chaos in a small space. Ignore the delayed response of the limited number of waiting staff. Enjoy the food because it is worth it. Posted on September 19, 2013 |

★★★★★ Kebab are amazing... Setting not the best and service is alright... Posted on May 21, 2013 |

★★★★★ Excellent food. Definitely one of the best food places in Mississauga. The prices are on a higher side comparatively. But their Mutton Karahi, Brain Masala, Bihari Kebab and Chargha are incomparable.
The servers are great, only if you're in their good books lol, and I happen to be in their good books so I get the best of the service. Make friends with them, they are all young folks there, and some very interesting ones too... you just need to know which knobs to turn to make that eating experience even better with great service.
You go once, and you will go again, that's for sure. Posted on September 7, 2012 |

★★★★★ It's pricey compared to most Indian and Pakistani restaurants, but the quality of the food is just great. The ambience is descent, the service is good too. We loved the food so much, that I had my wedding catered by these guys, and again, food was absolutely great, everyone loved it. Posted on May 7, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Their Behaari Kebabs are excellent.
The problem is the service, the low quantity of servings & the unusually high pricing.
Last time we spent over $150 and I still came home hungry. Posted on November 11, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ Service is horrible. Probably one of the worst restaurants I've been to with regards to that. The food is good though. Posted on October 17, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Went to this place with some decent expectations. It was very disappointing.
We got some kababs and tandoori chicken, to-go. When we got home and opened the box, we were shocked to say the least. The portions were stingy (e.g just one thigh piece) and included a sad excuse for a salad. The naan was also over cooked.
This place is trying to be like Lahore Tikka House on Gerrard with it's traditional decor and rustic ambiance. Unfortunately, the food does not match the setting. It's a shame too, as the location has a lot of potential. Posted on October 7, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ Went here after having a bad experience at the other location in Scarborough and surprise surprise it was the same here. The service here was slow and bad, the table we sat on was not cleaned properly, the prices are more expensive here compared to the other location even though it's the exact same menu. Me and my wife got tired of waiting around to place an order, so we simply walked out. Posted on November 14, 2010 |

|
★★★☆☆ Service was started good but after an hour when restaurant became crowed, dropped significantly. Serving crew had no idea if order was completely filled or what ever is remaining. I was charged for double the amount of cold drinks but was adjusted at the time of payment upon request. Biryani was worst and the Lahori fish was good, rest was okay. Over all average experience and can be visited again. Posted on March 19, 2010 |

NR Menu Choices and Quality are Exclusive and Excellent and unique to a halal restaurant. Delicious Dishes. A great place to take the family out. A cozy and homely ambience. The service is great with servers smiling face and warmth especially the gal server is an amazin person. The Head Chef / Owner venturing into the dining area and getting feedback (almost every single time I have been there). Bihari kabab is a must have dish and they hv magaz masala and katakat too available which is undiscribably amazin in taste... Congratulations !!! BBQ Tonite u guyz rock in halal Indian and Pakistani cusine!!!! Posted on February 9, 2009 |

★★★★★ The name itself doesnt need an introduction for ppl who are into bar b q and are from pakistan. The place is gr88 with a clean cozy and homely ambience, authentic and exclusive dishes in the menu and a open kitchen makes it a more hapenning place. Excellent quality of food without a doubt at a reasonable price. Service is gr88 , each servers carries a smile with never a frown on face especially the gal server there treats u with all the warmth in this freezin winter. Now they evn have katakat and magaz masala in the menu available..well it took a long time but they made it..bihari kabab is a must have in the menu. well many of the desi ppl who actually dont knw the meaning of FINE DINE IN might not like the place.... FOR ME the overall experience i wud say was extremely awesome!!! Congratulations BBQ Tonite...U guyz rock!! A must and a must visit restaurants. Posted on February 9, 2009 |

★★★★★ First of all I want to congratulate the owners for bringing such a quality food restaurant to Mississauga. The food tastes great and the quantity served is ample. Servce is timely and staff is courteous. I specially like their Reshmi Kabab rolls as these taste so good. I personally recommend all my friends to go and eat there. Hats off to the chef !! ★☆☆☆☆ Horrible service and average food. The attitude is very very bad, customer treadment is horrible. Order the food and go to sleep for a nap and you get very strange answers when asked about your order. Neverever go again and will not recommend. Posted on December 4, 2008 |

★★★★★ I usually respect peoples opinions, but the review written by Sul786 is just to unbearable to ignore. I was there when his so called "bad experience" occured. His family came 25 minutes LATE to the reservation, and the place was packed. At that point, half of their other party did not even show up. If you went to ANY non-muslim or muslim restaurant, undoubtedly anyone would be upset; especially when they were reserving the biggest table in the whole restaurant. This place is amazing. The food is excellent. The waiters could have a better attitude but its not that bad. Its funny how only at desi-owned restaurants, people act and behave as if their royalty. They wouldn't have half the attitude they have if they went to a non-south asian restaurant. It truly is a shame. Posted on November 26, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ We went out to celebrate my nephew's birthday on October 18, 2008 as per our reservation at 8pm. Half of our party were on the way and some of were already there. We were there for only 10 minutes waiting to order, and we were ask to order the food 2 times. On third occasion the owner came with rude attitude at that point we felt harassed. We told them that we are still waiting for others to arrive because they are delay due to traffic. We will order all at once as soon as they arrive. We were told that they are very busy and we need to order fast, so they can clear the tables for others. We felt as if we were harassed. Meantime the whole restaurant was empty and there were no line ups at the door. When we explain this to owner he did not want to listen to us and didn't care if we ate there. We have been there in the past and have also done takeout. But they didn't care for our loyalty and repeat business. The whole experience was very bad. We had to leave this restaurant and tell our friends not to meet us their, and find another Indian halal restaurant near by. The whole experience had ruined the night that was suppose to be a birthday celebration. We will never go back again. Posted on October 26, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ we went to this restaurant yesterday. We ordered seekh kabab, reshmi and behari kababs. the restaurant has little space and was too noisy. service was really bad. we asked waiter thrice to bring the order and every time he just nod his head and went away. food quality was also not good as compared to price. Price of the food was very high and food was not enough to full your stomach. Overall the experience was very bad. I'll advise you to go to that resturant only if you would like to WASTE your precious TIME and MONEY. Posted on October 22, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ No manners and they dont know how to talk to the customers or serve - secondly after siting down you can find out mostly items on the menu not available - worse part is i saw cook is sweating and he remove sweatness from 4 head using fingers and then without even washing hand he start place meat on bar be que stick - so gross
i dont go thier next time even if free Posted on August 17, 2008 |

★★★★☆ My roommate used to work in the kitchen at Bar B-Q tonite. Apparently, they do not allow employees to eat the expensive meat and kabob dishes. So, one can safely assume their staff is unhappy and disgruntled. Not sure how this effects service, but......... Posted on May 16, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Got to try this barbeque place last weekend. The variety platter seemed to work well for us as it has tandoori chicken, seekh kebab, chappli kebab and fried fish. Liked channa masala as side dish. Karahi: not very thrilling. Garlic naan are awesome! And so are the freshly baked tandoori naan. Overall, it's a decent place to eat at when you're hungry. It sure does fill you up. Posted on May 1, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Dubai, Karachi ya Mississauga, the sight of BBQ Tonite never ceases to amaze one.
The food at this place is no doubt, quiet mouth watering and tasty. The bihari kabob and the mix plate are by far the best on the menu. The appearance, cleanliness, prices, parking and service are all good.
However, it lacks the quantity. Considering that it surrounded by stiff competition, the QUANTITY factor will be the main deciding factor for many families. In other words, the name may be a crowd puller, but the food quantity may not be able to live up to its expectations. You still feel hungry even after finishing up a single serving.
On another note, they never seem to have the kat-a-kat item. Get me once, my luck, get me twice, coincidence, get me more than that spells, this item is just for attraction. On the whole, it’s worth a dining experience with the fancy see thru kitchen, but they would need to do more than that to retain the customers.

★☆☆☆☆ Was disappointed, the food was not that great. Bihari kebab was good but the quantity was small. General prices were very high compared to what you get. It was too obvious that the establishment was out to make money rather than provide a good dining experience.Overall I would not recommend this place Posted on December 13, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ I went to Bar B Q Tonite this weekend and ordered lamb chops, chicken karahi and some tandoori naan. I must say that it was the worst food. The lamb chops was uncooked inside, so we called them for a complaint and they claimed it was afghani style lamb chops. The chicken karahi had too much tomato paste and masala. The tandoori naan was very chewy and dry. They charge too much because they don't have the right quality or the portion. I would never advice any one to come here. Posted on November 13, 2007 |

★★★★★ I went to BBQ Tonite on Wednesday, Oct 31, 2007. It was a stylish and respectable family oriented resturant. There was a glass wall between sitting area and kitchen, so you could see how your food is getting ready. Alot of parking. The bottom line is, this resturant doesn't look like typical DESI resturant. I would recommend take your fine guests there.. They will like the standard, food and service!!! Posted on October 31, 2007 |

★★★★★ I went to BBQ Tonite on Sunday, Oct 7, 07 with my friends to open fast and let me tell you all, the service was excellent. The owner came to us and asked us personally how we liked the food. Everyone was very well-dressed (in white) and the food was freshly cooked and warm. You could actually see what people were doing in the kitchen because of the clear glass windows. The taste of the food was also good (the fish was out of this world). The atmosphere was nice and the lighting was also good. There were a lot of parking spaces, as well.
The owners should try to expand the space a little because some people were waiting to get seated. The food should also be a little spicier. Overall, 4.7/5.0. Posted on October 8, 2007 |
