★★★☆☆ i was in miami for a bussiness trip and on my last day i decided to eat here. the buffet was cheap about 7 a head i think however the food was cold. It wasnt anything to write home about but i guess thas what you get for $7...the food wasnt really my taste...if you like south indian food then ull probably liek it...i prefer punjabi style food so i was jus disappointed...ws
oh yea they got an extensive collection of alcohol and the waiter was even offering me liquor for the tea...im pretty sure the place is halal but after seeing a whole winery in the back and a display case wit over 40 liquor bottles im not too sure...but you never know Posted on August 20, 2004 |

★★★★☆ I called the lady there and she told me everything on the menu is halal. I have spoken to the owner and he is muslim and owns the store behind the restaurant as well. However, its always good to call and make sure its halal because the ownership of this restaurant has changed frequently. Their rogan gosh and vindaloo dishes are great in my opinion, so is their chicken curry dish. I like their sikh kebabs. They are pricey because they cater to a lot of Americans. Quaint atmosphere. ★★★★☆ Not sure if it is Muslim-owned, but the small Halal meat store around the corner says they supply it. Must stil request Halal. The chicken salaans were pretty decent. A bit pricey, but that's a by-product of catering to whitey. Overall, good place. Posted on September 30, 2003 |
