★★★★★ Slightly on the expensive side but the food is really good and their location/proximity to downtown makes them a great dining option. I always get the chicken biryani or chicken tandoori. The owners are not Muslim but they work really hard to get halal meat. When I first started going here only the chicken was halal but now all their meat is (though you do have to ask for it specifically). During their lunch buffet the meat they use is not halal but I went with a friend once and was just eating the vegetarian items and they must have noticed because by the middle of my meal they came out with three sizzling meat dishes they had just cooked for me with halal meat. They're really nice people and go out of their way for customer service. Posted on May 7, 2016 |

★★★☆☆ This is a punjabi owned Indian restaurant that is supposedly zabihah. Upon inquiring with a few people, I was finally told that the meat is from "Restaurant Depot". I'm not really sure how halal this restaurant is. I also saw one of the cooks, use the restroom and not wash his hands. They do serve alcohol and the bathrooms are in a bad condition.
On to the food:
The butter chicken was really good, however, at $13 the portion was small.
The mix grill had a lot of meat items on it and the flavors were good. It cost $16 though.
Butter naans are decent at $2.50 each.
The paratha was a total rip off at almost $4 each.
The mulligatwny soup was pretty delicious and fairly priced Posted on May 26, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Very average. Tandoori chicken was not good, but chicken tikka masala was good, although chicken wasn't moist. Prices a tiny bit high considering the quality. Posted on April 24, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ The food here is NOT halal. You can make a specific request for halal chicken in advance. This resturant usually does catering for events and they do provide halal food. Overall their food tastes pretty good. Posted on April 16, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Not everything here is halal, only chicken dishes, and that too upon request.
The best dish by far is the chicken makhani, they can make it spicy for you, and it is amazing. The chicken tikka and boti kababs are also pretty good.
Service is very good and they cater, but it is fairly pricey. Overall one of the best of the few halal restaurants in Memphis. Posted on July 2, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ We found this restaurant on the website and ordered food on the phone for pick up as they were about to close. We ordered Biryani, which did not look or taste at all like biryani. We also ordered goat curry, and it seemed to be lamb and had a smell in it. In addition it was full of oil, so much so that we had to drain much of it. The third dish chicken tikka was somewhat worth eating. Rest the food was below average. They seemed to be good at customer service though, and they provided with salad, papar ect. However, the over all food quality was too poor. No recommended. Posted on June 18, 2006 |
